She smiled at his responses, pleased by how happy he was to hang out with her. He had always been nice to her, and he was an amazing rider. After a while, Dakota pulled into the ranch's driveway and parked. She got out and unloaded Secret after Alexios got Tyranny. She fed her mare and put a cooler on her before locking the stall. She turned to Alexios. "I'm gonna head out. Shoot me a text if you ever want to stay over."

"I will." He nodded. "Do you need any work shifts here for me to cover?"

"Not right now, but thanks" She said, smiling at him. "Bye" She walked to her truck and unhitched the trailer befor driving home

Alexios finished tending to his horses, and usual stable work. When he was done, he grabbed his bag, and, despite the pouring rain, he began to walk home.

Upon walking into her house, Dakota texted Alexios.

Alexios texted back after a few minutes.

She hoped he wouldn't take the text the wrong way.....

(Yes, absolutely.)

He texted back.

Need me to cover any shifts this week? I'm not in school most of this week, so I can take less stress off you.

He texted, nearing his own home.
