After she was done, he waddled off, falling about two steps later. "Don't even look at him," I whispered, holding her gaze hostage before glancing back as he got back up.

"But...he..." She muttered

"If you rush to him, he'll start crying. You let him get up by himself, he doesn't, and that sticks. Basically teaches them they're fine if they fall." I assured, checking him over.

"But what if he's hurt?" She said, brows pinched with worry

"You wait for him to get up, then check." I mused, standing back up. "And he's not, that's what I was just doing."

"You're sure?" She asked, checking him fantically

"Sure as a bet on a snake with a toothache will whine," I mused, unsure she'd get the reference from all the camps.
