Duncan drifted off. Aaron came back 4 hours later. "Hey man, you should probably at least get up and go for a walk. Sitting here for hours can really screw your systems up. Also, Kai and Alora want to speak with you in Kais office, I'll stay with Duncan, don't worry," Aaron told Axel. Once Axel had left, Aaron settled next to Duncan who woke up with the shift of his mattress. Duncan blinked up at Aaron blearily, vision and hearing quite fuzzy. "Hey there," Aaron said softly. "How are you feeling?" he asked. Duncan blinked. "...I want you to know, that no matter what happens, I love you so much..." Duncan whispered, thinking he was speaking to Axel. Stunned, Aaron blinked back at him. He didn't know Duncan was into guys or even with Axel, and he didn't piece together the latter either. Duncan reached up, pulling Aaron down and kissing him. Aaron, absolutely stunned, didn't do anything at first but he melted into the kiss. Aaron had secretly been into guys for a while, he was still was oblivious to the fact Axel and Duncan were together, and Duncan was cute. So he kissed him. Duncan pulled him closer and Aaron did. -- Kai and Alora were in his office when Axel came up. "Please sit," Kai asked. "Duncan hasn't been doing so great, and we've been thinking, and we want to inform you that you've been granted citizenship here and you are free to go where ever you like within the kingdom and the castle. No more curfew either. You may stay with Duncan until one of you requests otherwise," Kai explained.

Axel hadnt been entirely pleased to be pulled away from Duncan, but he figured he should do what they were asking if he didn't want to kess anything up. He sighed, muttering a "wonderful," in response to Aaron's comment before slipping out of the room reluctantly and heading to kais office. He plopped down in a chair when they mentioned it, eyebrows raising in surprise when kai spoke. "And you're sure it won't cause any problems with the townsfolk or other kingdoms," he asked, admittedly a little worried about that. He'd stay though, as long as Duncan was here. If Duncan died from this .. he didn't think he could stay. Not really. He'd go off into the woods and ...figure something out. But he wouldn't want to be part of a society any more. He knew that much. The only reason he was here and trying was for Duncan, and if he didn't have him anymore then what was the point?

Kai shook nodded. "Yeah, I mean, nothing about you was ever told or shown to the public, and everyones very accepting out there, so yeah," he replied. Alora nodded along. "But thats all we needed to talk with you about, so you're free to go back to Duncan now," -- Duncan continued to kiss Aaron, but he truly did think it was Axel. He was so blown from his medication he really didn't know what was what right now, he just assumed it was Axel and his mind was to foggy to process that it might not be him.

Axel frowned slightly, but nodded along. People would recognize him as being from the enemy kingdom, and as being a mixed person, but their leaders were from different kingdoms, so maybe they were more accepting than others. He wasn't sure. "Alright," he noted quietly with a nod. His mind was whirling as he moved back to Duncan's room slowly, so he barely even noticed Aaron at first. When he did though, he had to do his best not to just .. attack the man. He could tell Duncan was out of it, so he wasn't upset with him, but Aaron should have known better. So he marched over, grabbed the back of his collar, and yanked him off Duncan, clearly angry. "The guys shot full of enough meds to take out an elephant, and that's how you decide to act," he asked, positioning himself between the two other men.

Duncans brow furrowed, "Hey, wait..." he muttered groggily. Aaron, startled, raised his hands in surrender. "He pulled me in first, I swear," he said quickly. Then it finally clicked to Aaron that Axel and Duncan were together. "Oh shit, no, I didn't know you guys were a thing, I swear," he said quickly. "I don't know what I'm doing, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to,"

Axel had crossed his arms in front of his chest, clearly expecting a fight. So when Aaron just apologized, the tension in his shoulders relaxed immediately. Not all the way, but he wasn't as furious anymore. Still angry, but not to the point where he wasn't thinking. But Aaron was being honest, so he sighed, shaking his head slightly. "Neither of you did," he grumbled, though the malice had drained out of his voice for the most part. "But you still should have known better than to act on something he did or said while he was this medicated," he pointed out, mostly cross about that more so than anything else. He knew Aaron was a good nurse though, so he sighed after a moment and added a "just don't do it again," as a sort of acceptance of his apology.

Aaron nodded, "It won't happen again," he promised. He moved to give Duncan the medicine he'd been sent to give and then he promptly left. Duncan was still rather confused, yet still groggy. "....Axel?"

Axel just nodded in response to Aaron's comment, watching him closely as he gave Duncan the medicine, as he always did, before sitting back down in his chair beside the bed, sighing heavily. When Duncan spoke his name, he turned to him with a soft hum though, adding a soft "what's up, babe," to him

"...why'd you stop?" he mumbled, eyes half-lidded from the effort he was putting in to stay awake.

Axel was confused for a moment before he connected the dots. He just smiled softly and shook his head. "I just had to tell Aaron something quick," he noted, before leaving forward to kiss him. "You should sleep," he added gently, against his lips.
