Duncan nodded, getting cleaned up and getting dressed. Surprisingly, he hadn't found himself too overwhelmed by the lots of physical contact he had been having with Axel tonight. It was good, and it made Duncan happy to think about.

Axel cleaned off quickly, making sure he was available to help Duncan if it was needed and/or wanted. He was happy with the way things had gone too, so he found himself just working with a small smile on his face as he dried off and got dressed.

Duncan got dressed and mentally prepared himself for dinner. He hadn't told his siblings about his hair yet, but it had been too long since he'd seen them. Duncan took Axels hand and walked down to the dining room with. His family's faces lit up when they saw him, but quickly faded once they realized the absence of his hair. None of them were judgy, they were sympathetic. Alora rushed over to him, engulfing him in a hug.

Axel had gotten ready quickly, helping Duncan with his own stuff and then taking his hand happily. He did release his hand so he could hug Alorha, of course, but stuck close by his side anyway, only sitting down once he was settled at the table.

Duncan spoke with his siblings, holding hands with Axel underneath the table the whole time.

Axel let Duncan talk, though he was mostly focused on the food in front of him. Old habits still hit hard sometimes, so after years of not having much food available, at meals he tended to just focus on the food. Of course, he talk if they talked to him or if Duncan needed something....but that wasn't the case at this moment in time

When Duncan was starting to get a little anxiety from the amount of socializing he was doing, he squeezed Axels hand, telling him he needed to go.

When Axel felt Duncans squeeze, he finished the bite he had in his mouth before humming softly and excusing them, making sure to grab some of the leftovers so they had food for later if they wanted it as he stood. He helped Duncan up too, keeping a protective arm around Duncan as they moved to his room.

Duncan yawned, entering their room and getting into bed. Even simple things tired him now.

|
Axel put the food and stuff down and made sure Duncan was comfortable. He didn't fall asleep as soon as Duncan did, but he settled down next to him to draw for a little while before he'd fall asleep himself.
