Duncan smiled, "You're so handsome," he murmured. He found his tattoos too, running his fingers along the one behind his ear. "I love your tattoos too," he hummed. Duncan had always liked tattoos on other people, but he couldn't get any himself.

Axel just chuckled softly at Duncan's comment, nestling in a little bit further. "Well, I'm glad you think so," he noted. "It would be much harder to woo you without it," he added with a grin, the last bit clearly a joke.

Duncan chuckled lightly before leaning back up to kiss him.

Axel kissed him back, grunting in thought after a moment. "When are you planning on telling your siblings were getting married," he asked. "You'll have to before we move forward with anything...and they'll probably have to figure out how to introduce me to the public," he noted, brow crinkling slightly in thought. "Dumping your fiance on them all of a sudden will be a shock," he admitted.

Duncan nodded, "I'll tell them soon," he hummed. "But I already know how I want to tell the public," he said excitedly. "Theres a ball next week, for the Winter Solstice. I want to go in there as a couple. We don't have to make a statement or an announcement. We'll just be ourselves, and when someone asks, we can tell them, but I want to go into this event just like ourselves. Let them be shocked,"

Axel nodded as he spoke, a soft smile forming on his face. It was exciting to think about. When he mentioned the ball, he hummed softly in thought, nodding along. "Hopefully they take it well," he murmured, admittedly still a little nervous about how the people would respond to him. Plus...well he'd never been to ball. Never done anything even remotely as fancy or public as that. And he'd certainly never danced with anyone before.

"They'll love you," Duncan smiled.

|
Axel hummed softly, nodding along. "I hope so," he noted quietly. "I don't want to cause any.... problems," he added with a small sigh.

|
Duncan shook his head, "You won't," he reassured him with a soft smile. "Kai covered you for the autumn prince incident and the public doesn't even know you're here. Your first impression will be my loving fiance," he hummed.

|
Axel let out a soft breath, nodding his head along. "I know," he noted. "It's just ..a lot to think about, I guess," he added with a small shrug. He didn't have to worry about that now though....they still had some time. And right now, it was late. "You should get to sleep," he hummed after a moment or so, knowing that had been the initial plan before they'd gotten distracted.
