Sage just nodded excitedly and rolled over, using his bodyweight to help since he only had one hand. He moved into deeper water, letting himself sink completely beneath the surface and flicking his tail back and forth, imitating Remy. When that didn't really work, he did some other things, eventually figuring out his tail was more shark or eel like, so it moved side to side as opposed to Remy, who's tail moved up and down. Once he got that down, he was good to go

Remy smiled. "You good?" he clicked.

Sage was watching his tail, concentrating on figuring out what muscles did what. When he heard Remy, he nodded and grinned. "I think so."

Remy smiled, giving him a thumbs up before swimming down, faster.

Sage moved to follow Remy, curiously looking around as they went. "Where are we going," he asked.

Sage nodded excitedly, moving to speed up a bit so he could grab remys hand. "I cant wait," he noted softly

Remy smiled squeezing his hand, swimming with him. It took a few moments, but soon enough, a little mertown appeared into view. Merpeople were swimming around, going about doing their business. There weren't many residents, maybe 15-20. Not enough to be a bother, but enough to have a sense of belonging and people to look out for you. Remy swam with Sage into the heart of town, where his home was located. When they got there, Remy led Sage inside a little dugout from a coral rock. It had an overhang to protect from above, and the front side, facing town square was broken off to create a window, large enough to see out of, but not big enough to let sharks in. Inside, the far wall contained a bed of kelp that had been flattened down a little from Remy sleeping. There was a table, covered in sand so they could write messages on in the sand instead of on paper incase they needed to go somewhere while the other wasn't home, and a few invaluable keepsakes laid around the small area. Really, merpeople didn't have much in their homes.

As they swam along, sage peered around excitedly, taking in all the details he could with wide eyes. The town was small, but seemed comfortable. Nice. And his home was even more so. "I love it," he noted lightly, swimming around the cave like place before returning to Remy and pressing his lips against his happily.

Remy smiled kissing him back, flopping onto the kelp bed and pulling him down with him.
