Duncan stayed in bed, just waiting for him patiently.

| |

Eventually Axel stirred, just sort of turning towards Duncan and burying his face into his chest with a groan, not entirely wanting to get up and stop cuddling anytime soon

Duncan awkwardly stayed where he was. He still struggled with touches to his chest and shoulders, but he was trying to do better.

Axel didn't stay there long, since he didn't want to overstimulate Duncan. Eventually he rolled over onto his back with a groan, stretching. "I vote we have a lazy day," he sort of mumbled, clearly half asleep.

Duncan nodded, "I'd like that," he smiled, now quite content. He rolled onto his side facing him, just watching him lightly.
| |

Axel nodded, flopping an arm over his face to block out the morning sun. "Good, cuz I'm not going anywhere for a while," he noted with a sort of chuckle.
| |
| |

Duncan smiled, just watching him, keeping his distance a little.
| |

Axel was honestly content where he was. He wouldn't have minded if Duncan did curl in, he always like his creature comforts....but he was happy where he was too. "You think people figured out we were a couple," he asked after a moment or so, looking over at Duncan. "I mean ...a couple like, you're planning on marrying me?"
| |
| |

"Oh yeah," he chuckled. "Friends aren't practically glued to each other and don't dance like that," he noted playfully. "And yes, I still fully intend on marrying you,"
| |

Axel couldn't help but laugh at Duncan's comments, sort of rolling over onto his side to peer over at him. "It still feels kind of like a fever dream," he admitted, lips twitching into a sort of smile. "I did enjoy dancing with you though," he added. The night as a whole had been stressful ...but he'd enjoyed the dancing.
