Sage grunted when Remy fell, not quite able to keep them both upright since the guy was a good head taller than him, but he did break the fall and allowed them to sit down pretty easily. It had jolted his arm, and he winced slightly, but luckily the prosthetic was able to hear weight and would be fine

Remy groaned, laying on the ground. Why was this so hard?

|
Sage sort of sat there for a moment, catching his breath. It didn't take long, but still. Remy wasn't exactly light, and while sage was fit from the time t war, Remy likely weighed more than he did. "Well, we didn't do badly," he noted after a moment, eyeing him. "You up for more or should I dump you back in the tank," he added

Remy sighed, "We should probably try again," he groaned, sitting back up.

Sage chuckled and nodded, moving to slip under him and steady him over his shoulder before standing up with a grunt, hauling them both up so Remy could get his feet under him

Remy stood, getting his balance again. He looked down at his body and then at Sages. He was wearing anything as he'd just changed from a tail to legs. His legs didn't come with clothes. "Am I supposed to be wearing something?" he asked curiously.

|
Sage honestly hadn't thought about clothes, since his mind had been preoccupied, but once Remy mentioned it and he glanced over at him, he wrinkled his nose slightly and nodded. "I guess you'll have to wear something to pass as a human once we're out of here," he noted. He felt his cheeks heat up slightly as he glanced over at Remy, though he was t entirely sure why. "Let's see if anything I have fits well enough," he added, eyeing him

Remy nodded in agreement. He hadn't really thought about it either, but he'd seen humans and they'd always been dressed, so he supposed he should get some clothes.

Sage sort of helped Remy along to the room he lived in, kicking the door open and then plopping him on the mattress he called a bed. It was just on the floor, and he had one blanket, but it was something. He moved to dig through the cardboard box he kept his things in, looking for... anything really. He eventually tossed a pair of pants that were too big for him and his largest T-shirt at Remy along with an unused pair of boxers. "See if these fit," he noted. "Boxers go under the pants. Keeps you from sliding around everywhere," he added, nodding towards his bare body.

Remy took the clothes, looking at them curiously. They were strange really. He looked down at himself. Honestly, he didn't know what it was all for, but he guessed humans anatomy was different from mermans, so it probably had a use. Remy didn't ask, he just slid into the clothes, trying to get it right by observing how Sage was wearing his. He ended up with everything inside out and backwards.
