(sweet ok) "Do we need anything from the store? Figured you'd've noticed if we did, i've forgotten, yet you always seem to remember for some reason." The man noted, smiling softly. |

Caden nodded, getting up and getting dressed before waiting on Rose. Afterwards the two got in the truck, starting to make their way to the store. After getting groceries and starting to walk out, in the corner of his eye Caden saw something gleam, a man stalking up to Rose where she couldn't see him. His hand rose, the knife's blade catching the sun as Caden threw himself between the two, shoving Rose away as the knife caught his side instead of hers. He barely felt it, whipping his head around to the man and dodging a punch, Caden's fist catching the other man's jaw before hitting his temple, the man crumpling to the ground as Caden made a weak sound, world spinning around him as he leaned against the wall, gaze darting around to find Rose. |

"Caden!" she gasped, dialing 911 |

"They...they won't be here quick enough, if we drive over we'll get there faster most likely." He explained, gaze hazy as he looked around for where the truck was parked. |

She nodded, getting the keys rom his pocket and trying to help stabalize him. "I'll drive you." |

Caden nodded, leaning half his weight on her as they hurried to the car, the man getting in the passenger side as he grabbed a random gym shirt from the back seat, pressing it against his side without removing the blade. |
