Sage nodded and moved to watch him slip back into the water, following him after a moment and letting his tail reform. "Let's go then," he chirped lightly, moving to take remys hand and follow him. It took him a few seconds to switch to his gills again, but soon enough they were swimming along to his cave.

Remy smiled, waiting for him, letting him take his time. Once ready, the two swam down into the sea, deep, deep down until there was no light other than the bioluminecense from Remy's tail. Remy kept a hold on Sages hand so they would stick together and wouldn't get lost.

Sage followed Remy down, deeper than he'd ever be able to have gone as a human. It was cool, but a bit chilly. Not uncomfortably so, though. Remys tail provided enough light for them...and while sage didn't have any light of his own, he found that he could see almost as good as he could in better lighting. "How well can you see down here," he asked curiously, wondering if he'd gotten more deep water abilities than Remy. He wasn't sure how it worked.

"My eyes adjusted because I used to spend a lot of time down here as a child," Remy explained, finally getting to the seafloor and swimming along it, until they found the cavern with a slight glow from all of the bioluminescent plants and animals in the cavern.

Sage nodded in thought. "Can all merpeople do that? See this deep down I mean?" There was still a lot about merpeople he didn't know. Remy had bioluminescence and had adjusted, whereas sage could see fine without any bioluminescence of his own, almost like he was made for hunting down here. It was odd. He was distracted by the cave though, and he let Remy tug him along, eyes widening in wonder as he peered around at everything, drinking in every little detail

|
Remy shook his head. "No, depends on where you grew up and depends on what kind of merperson you are," he explained, diving down into the cavern, full of shiny jewels, gold, silver, pearls, all illuminated by the bioluminescence of the creatures Remy let live there.

|
Sage nodded. It made sense, he supposed....there were different races of humans, so merpeople he assumed would have something similar. Thosw thoughts were gone when they entered the cave though, the sight of it all completely taking over sages attention. "Woah," he breathed, sort of moving to swim around, peering at everything he'd collected.

Remy smiled , watching him look around.

|
Sage darted around the caverns, trying to take it all in, eyes wide and a grin on his face. "Where did you even find all this," he asked, clearly in awe of the whole thing

|
Remy smiled. "All across the world. Mostly shipwrecks,"
