Sage let out a sigh when Remy put everything on wrong. "Right, let me explain some things," he decided, showing him how to put clothes on correctly. "And what questions do you have about.." he sort of just gestured to Remy. "...this?"

Remy got into his clothes properly with Sages help. "What is it for?" he asked curiously.

Sage couldn't help but chuckle at remys question. "Reproduction," he noted. "How exactly do merpeople normally do that," he asked, sort of squinting over at him. "I'm guessing it's not like humans."

"Oh," he hummed, trying to figure out how it would all work. "Like fish do," he replied simply. "Some chose to do it on their own in private to have a family, others do it how fish normally do, thats why most don't know who their parents are. I don't know who my parents are," he explained.

Sage nodded in thought, tilting his head as he figured out how exactly to explain it all. "Right," he mused. It did make sense. "I don't know who my mom is but most of the time humans have parents who are a couple," he started, sort of explaining the process to him beat he could. Admittedly, anything he'd gotten were after a night at the bar and he only remembered bits and pieces aince he was drunk. But he knew how it worked.

Remy nodded along, learning and listening. He supposed he'd be spending quite some time in this body so he might as well learn about it. It was kinda gross the way humans did it... merpeople didn't even touch while it all happened, while humans...

Sage didn't go into too much detail about the topic, since Remy seemed a little grossed out about it, but he gave him what he needed to know. "You won't need to do it unless you meet someone and decide you want to try...I have a feeling we'll be hiding out and away from society," he mused

Remy nodded, "How do you know so much about it? Do you have a kid?"

Sage wrinkled his nose slightly, plopping down into a chair and shrugging. "It's possible...I've spent a lot of nights drunk out of my mind and things wind up happening," he admitted, shifting his weight. He wasn't sure why he was admitting this to Remy, and he wasn't very proud of it. Letting people just grab him as they pleased wasn't healthy either...but, well, he was drunk. At least he didn't remember most of it. And there was his stepmom too ... she'd pulled him into her room plenty of times, but he wasn't willing to talk about that

Remy nodded slowly. That was kinda sad really. "...what-... what if a guy, likes another guy?" He asked. Remy himself had never thought a mermaid was pretty. Never once. Though when he was growing up he did have a crush on another guy. But he knew it could never happen as under the sea everyone was just looking to have kids and that couldn't happen with two guys.
