Chuckaluck Elites Stable RP (chuck-a-luck) This is a casual rp, it covers the horses and activities going on within the stable, it's meant to just be a relaxing vibe, with not much pressure for paragraphs of text.
If you wish, you can have a character visit, or even work at the stable as a trainer, lesson host, groom, or anything else. Your characters can even bring their horses to use the facilities, or board it for any given amount of time, wether it be passing through, or staying for an extended amount of time. I might also occasionally host small in-rp shows, hacks, or other activities. Character Thread Facility Layout WIP Edited at March 19, 2025 06:45 PM by Chuckaluck Elites

JC, Basil, Penny JC, lead in hand, led the mare towards the pastures, smaller than the ones used to turn out groups of horses. The painted filly followed excitedly, stopping every few moments to inspect something, despite it not being the first time they had walked the same path. The filly didn't let them get too far though, always making sure to catch up before continuing its exploration. Eventually, upon reaching the pasture, JC opened the gate, leading in the mare, watching as the filly excitedly dashed past, running around excitedly. JC laughed softly at the foal's antics, removing the mare's halter, and patting her neck. The pearl mare took a few steps before rolling, the previously clean coat now soiled once more. The mare soon stood and shook off, then went off to graze. Feel free to post! Edited at March 19, 2025 06:45 PM by Chuckaluck Elites

Jaden led his racing Thoroughbred, Loki, into the barn. The jockey had just had a very nice ride on the stallion, besides a few points of Loki getting cocky here and there. "Good boy bud, keep that up and we'll place decent next race." Jaden said sadly, patting the stallions neck. Loki nickered, nuzzling his hand and shoving Jaden with his head. "Sir, can you back up? Please? I don't have any, you ate them all." The man mused, unclipping his Charles Owens helmet and taking it off, raking a hand through his hair to tassle it back to its more casual style as he dangled it in his hand. <><><> After a short walk Loki was in the cross ties and getting sprayed off, scraped, and led back to his stall. Where he rolled, of course.

Star, Sasha A truck and trailer had just pulled up next to the barn, the truck regonizable as the owners. There was a short exchange before a flashy appaloosa mare was led off by Sasha. The owner recently purchased the new mare, in hopes she could enter the lesson program later on with some more training. - The mare whinnied loudly, head raised as she looked around. Sasha clicked, getting the mares attention and leading her towards the barn. Once inside, the mare tried to stop every few steps, wanting to meet the other horses, but was encouraged to keep moving. "Come on, you'll have plenty of time to meet everyone, lets go." They said, clicking and giving a few tugs to the lead. Once at the stall, her halter was removed and the mare began to sniff around. She quickly found the hay, beginning to eat happily. Edited at March 21, 2025 07:28 AM by Chuckaluck Elites

Loki, being the nut he was, started banging his hoof on the wall of his stall, getting a reaction from Jaden as he walked past with his sooty bay thoroughbred colt. The colt was two and was going to be entering large races. Jaden being 5'4 was fine to ride him, being light and short enough. The man tacked up the colt before finding something to use as a mounting block before wlaking past the owner. "Evening," He greeted with a tip of his helmet, his aussie accent slipping out as he spoke. The man rode Romeo to the gates and ran him along the track, getting a nice workout in for the colt.

Star, Sasha, Neal Sasha waved to him, latching the stall door closed. "Hiya," they said, standing by and ensuring the mare settled down before leaving to work on other chores around the stable. - Once sure the mare was settled in a bit and found the water, she began to walk off, though she stayed within earshot as she led out a grey gelding to be brushed off and tacked up, prepping him for training with one of the other trainers as they were trying to build more muscle on him still. - The gelding, Neal, followed and was brushed off, the dirty and somewhat muddy coat beginning to let the chestnut coat left under the grey show through more clearly.

Jaden rode Romeo back to the stable, the stallion foaming with sweat from the run. He hopped down, switching the horses bridle for a halter before untacking and hosing off the colt. Jaden started to lead the colt, Romeo trying to walk way faster then him to which the man responded by snapping him with his lead, Romeo stopping and walking at the correct pace.

JC Sasha seemed to no longer be in the barn, likely off doing other tasks or possibly done working for the day. Instead, JC now seemed to be around, cleaning a few empty stalls, a nearly overfilled wheel barrel pushed to the side and out of the way. - The man glanced over, giving a short wave and greeting before continuing his work. And the new mare from earlier seemed to have settled down now, though still glanced over at each noise, ears perked curiously.
