Luna just woke up and stretched for the morning, once she was done she yawned and walked to find some more cats and any kits, once she found some kits she made sure they were all accounted for and not hurt, once she did that she walked off to go talk to other cats about random things

ββββΰ¨ΰ§ββββ Polaris Ψ ΰ¬ ββββΰ¨ΰ§ββββ The glorious early morning light that shone across the Pride`s camp was enough to stir Polaris from her much needed slumber, forcing an exaggerated yawn to slip past her maw as her eyes fluttered open. For a brief moment, she took the luxury of lifting her head to examine her surroundings before forcing herself up, leaning backwards as she stretched her front appendages. She gave her tan pelt a brief shake as if to rid herself of the moss and dust that clung to it prior to slinking off to saunter through the camp. It was often quiet in the early morning and, truth be told, she would be lying if she claimed she didn`t enjoy it. Her tail swayed to and fro as she padded along, the movements and curvature an indication of her being relaxed and content. Polaris eventually settled on a jagged stone, one that rewarded whoever climbed it with a place to bathe beneath the rising sun. She lowered herself as a contented purr rumbled deep within her chest, amber eyes half-lidded due to the lack of chatter and crowding that would certainly soon appear once the majority of felines awoke from their respective slumbers. Polaris silently wondered if she would have any tasks for today, knowing that some days the Chief was content and that Jasper had no need to fret over lacking a certain herb or remedy for an ill cat. She loved it when the camp was like this: peacefully quiet and snug. ββββΰ¨ΰ§ββββ Commentary: Certainly on the shorter side, but didn`t want to do too much, haha. <3 Edited at June 6, 2025 12:08 AM by Imperial Warmbloods

Sadka . A light breeze found its way weaving through the pelt of a certain tom as he sat quietly on the outskirts of the den sites. The stone platform that overlooked the entire camp below was cool and smooth beneath his paws as his gaze traveled slowly across the perimeter. Sadka had been awake since the first critters could be heard scurrying about, before the sun had even began to rise. The scent of the two fat mice under his right paw wafted through his nostrils and he found himself running his spiked tongue over his muzzle to resist the urge to dig in the the carcasses he was meant to bring back to the prey pile in the middle of camp before too many more pride members awoke from their sleep. The midnight pelted tom rose from his haunches, neck reaching down to gather up the two dead mice before straightening and casting one last look over the oasis's expanse before turning tail to make his tread back to camp. It wasn't uncommon for Sadka to head out to hunt early in the morning, it was actually preferred- as the Rustlers of the pride had found it easier to hunt in the very morning when the prey were cool enough to come out of their burrows and tend to their needs. It was also not out of the norm for Sadka to awake early before dawn to scout the perimeter of the oasis. The last few mornings had been a bit hectic in that field, as coyotes had seemingly been circling the oasis for a quick snack. The Rustlers were able to fend them off, but with the cost of a few minor injuries on his own end. A sprained hind ankle and a decently sized, still-healing scar to his left shoulder. He had been cleaning it regularly, like Jasper had recommended, as well as pressing a few herbal supplements into the wound from time to time and it seemed to slowly be helping the flesh to stitch itself back together. Which was a relief, Sadka couldn't risk not being able to hunt or defend the territory for that long. Eventually, the tom made it back to camp- treading down the dusty, rocky path worn by constant patrols. The clearing was overall empty, besides the dwindling prey pile - that Sadka made sure to drop the mice off at - and a few arising pride mates. Including Luna, who the male was sure to give a curt nod to as he passed her. He wondered what Sheba would have the Campkeepers take care of today... Switching bedding? Maybe tearing out the thorn bushes at the edge of camp so the kits didn't get a bit too curious? That could be good... His eyes lingered on the sunning form of Polaris, blinking once before swiveling his head and form to his side. Sadka decided to settle down near one of the empty, unused dens. Sitting atop the sturdy stone pile he groomed himself and watched the sun rise. Surely more pride members would be arising soon? They didn't really have time to waste, and now that it was spring there were many more jobs to be worked on. Edit: yikes, just realized how long this was ^^" Edited at June 6, 2025 12:30 AM by Retreat

Lili Ann finally awoke and gathered her kits, walking silently to the creek to get a refreshing drink and wash up. Lili Ann made her way back to the camp with her kits just as the rustlers came back with breakfast. Celia also awoke made her rounds to make sure nobody was hurt, sick, or sore, and seriously injured. As she made her rounds, she found that Kinna had a bit of a sneeze; which Celia pronounced as allergies, and that Sadka was hurt by coyotes. But the sprained hind ankle would heal in a few days if he took care of it, and the scar was already hardly seeable thanks to Jasper. Sila, Joy, and Kati were refreshed and roused up after the cool creek water. Although Kinna had allergies, they were glad he wasn't sick. They tumbled and played, and had lots of fun-until Kati tripped and fell on a rock. "My right front leg hurts!" She wimpered to her siblings, so they ran to go get Celia. Celia quickly padded her way through the camp to where Kati was sitting. She looked at the poor kit's leg and pronounced it not broken, which was a relief, but bruised and perhaps sprained, and told Kati to take it easy for a few days. As Celia padded back to her den, she was thankful that she was able to help the kits and other members of the tribe so that they could survive.

Jasper . A light figure stood in the center of a den, his pelt shimmering in some places because of the light cracking through the stones placed around him. Jasper worked quietly, sorting some of the dry and wet herbs and plants that had been collected not two days ago. The dried herbs were stuck in the worn holes in the walls of the Herbalist den and the wet plants were either sunk or floated in the small moat that traveled through beneath his paws. He was running low on quite a few herbs, rarer ones that the Bandits had struggles finding in the past. He also decided that a pot would be nice... Maybe he'd ask them to snag one from the forts not too far from camp. The sound of a pair of small paws had the tom lifting his head from his work to see two of the Prides kits; Kinna and Kati. His head tilted to the side as he ushered them into the den, wary to keep their curious paws away from anything too important. Jasper could already see... Or hear what must have been bothering the little tom, giving him a rather bitter tasting root to chew thoroughly and spit out after a few minutes. As the root was supposed to relieve the majority of sneezing and allergy symptoms this season. For Kati, the male inspected her closely and tsked when he noticed her small limp. He shook his head, "You really must take it easy while playing with your brothers and sisters. Things like this will happen far too often if you dont.". He gave her some herbalised moss to suck on for five or so minutes, "This should help take away some of that pain." He waited for the supplement to kick in before he softly sent her on her way. It was about 30 minutes before Jasper finished up his sorting in the den, before he was able to pad outside and look around the clearing. The tom stretched, letting off a long yawn before his blue gaze found Sadka watching over the camp. The white cats eyes lowered to examine the black toms kind leg and back up to his shoulder. Right. Everything seemed to be healing nicely, good. Jasper nodded to himself before shaking out his pelt and heading himself over to the first Ranger he laid his eyes on. Kaski had made her way back into camp with a large and impressive rabbit, and Jasper caught her right as she was placing it into the prey stack. The white toms tail swished slowly on the ground as he let out a small purr, "Good morning, Kaski. I'm here for your task." He sat back on his haunches before continuing. "I've been running low on a few rare herbs lately- Lemon balm or stress relief, it should be further down into the small river of the oasis, and Devils Claw for anti-inflammatory needs. That should be located somewhere along the rocky perimeter of the oasis. I'd like them as soon as possible." His voice was soft before her nodded to the female, turning tail to make his way to the sunning form of the last Bandit. "Oh, I do apologize for interrupting your session, Polaris. But I've the need for a smaller clay pot to store some or my dispersing herbs in. I've just sent Kaski down to retrieve some herbal remedies from our territory so if you'd be up to it, I'd appreciate sending you to the forts to the East."

ADDAX The morning air was crispβcool with the last remnants of night clinging to the earth like forgotten breath. Dew clung to the stones and bark, glistening beneath the slow stretch of sun beginning to warm the oasis. Addax stood still on a rise just outside the heart of camp, his silhouette a jagged shape against the softening sky. The wind tugged gently at the short fur along his shoulders, and the single dark bead around his neck tapped faintly against his chest with each calm breath. Below, the pride stirred. Rustlers were gathering near the edge of the clearing, their voices low but building as they prepared for the morning hunt. Others padded from their dens, shaking sleep from their bones and blinking into the gold-touched breeze. The oasis was coming to lifeβbut Addax remained separate from it, like a statue too long in place to remember movement. He scanned the horizon beyond the trees. The grass rippled with the early wind, and somewhere in the distance, a small flock of birds took flightβstartled, perhaps, by something unseen. He watched them with quiet intensity, as though reading a story only he understood. There was no need to speak. No one to report to yet. No reason to break the silence that still held the edge of morning. Addax simply stood, ears twitching faintly, gaze steady. Waiting. Measuring. Listening to the pride awaken behind him, and the desert breathe ahead.
