Demeter was awake long before the sun arose, as was typical for her. She would talk to the night sentries first thing in the morning to get a report on the activities of gangs and rogues passing by the area. Usually they didn't come close enough to be a threat, but the sentries watched them anyone to keep an eye on possible enemy movements. After talking to the sentries, Demeter did a perimeter check of Haven to make sure everything was in order. Once her morning activities were done, she would return to the warehouse and build up the oven fire to heat a large pot of water for tea. As the tea steeped, she would watch the sun rise. Another day, a new dawn, and the possibility to rescue another child from darkness. Demeter looked forward to what the day could bring her.

{:} Caden Flores 'Cade/Bolt' {:} Rat {:} M: Phantom, Open {:} Cade's eyes opened. He quickly shifted himself upright, scanning the darkness. He glanced down at Phantom, sleeping beside him. He got up and began to slowly walk around, making sure nothing had crept into their cave during the night. It was less of a cave and more of a rotting house with one standing room. They still called it a cave. Cade heard scuttling, putting him on edge. He was quick to recognize the sound of rats, the animal, after living with them for so long. He sat back down, back pressed against the slightly damp wooden wall.

{:} Wren Brown 'Birdie' {:} Wolf {:} M: Open {:} Birdie took in a deep breath of air. She had spent the night by The City and it felt good to be back in the forest again. She was a Wolf, which meant that no one really bothered her when she slept. She streched, cracking her neck and back. She took a couple steps into the forest, finding a rock to sit on. She needed food, it had been a couple days since she'd had any. She walked to a small, dirty, stream and took a couple sips. She stood up and wiped her mouth with the back of her hand.

Elliott St. Paul With one hand and aching muscles Elliott tried desperately to climb a tree, his breath labored. His vision was blurry as he hadn't eaten in much too long, but the view of a small quail's nest in the branch of the fat old tree managed to keep him going. He'd spent the whole night aimlessly, and rather stupidly, wandering the Wilds in search of food, but his lack of speed or stealth had scared everything away. He finally reached the top, finding a tiny and unbalanced seat where he could reach the eggs. He drank the yolks quickly, undeterred by the taste or texture.

Luna 'Moony' Allen Moony was sitting at a table, rather frustratedly messing with a few pieces of scrap metal and a very well-worn scrap of cloth. She was trying, and failing, to make a small knife for 'surgery' and the like. She put everything down flat on the table's surface, trying to figure out how to make it work, but nothing came to her very annoyed mind.

Adrien 'Phantom' (last name I don't remember) | M: Bolt | -X- Adrien jolted awake when he heard footsteps he sighed and rubbed his head. He was already awake. Great. He looked around, spotting Bolt, who was already awake, looking around the floors. He swung his legs over the side of his partial bed and tilted his head. "Morning." He said quietly, standing up and rubbing hid eyes blearily. He hated sleep. But he was certain he hated the smell doen here more. Though, he could barely smell it. He had gotten so... used to it... by now. Adrien looked back at Bolt and raised an eyebrow. "What's the plan today?" He asked, though they did a similar routine everyday. It never hurts to ask. Demeter finished her tea and made her way back to the front of the warehouse to collect some knives and weapons for a trip out into the Wild. She wasn't a great hunter but she could at least try to bring back some meat. Sure they had a garden but vegetables didn't provide meat. Maybe she should talk to Everine about it when she got back? The older members of Haven had discussed livestock before but they really lacked the resources to care for animals. Hunting could be difficult but it required less resources. On her way up to her room, Demeter saw Moony sitting at one of the tables. She decided to check in on the girl to see what she was up to today before she left to hunt all day. "Good morning, Moony, what's this?" Demeter gestured at the parts laying on the table. She wasn't exactly sure what Moony was trying to accomplish here.

Everine 'Ivy' (another name I can't remember) | M: None (open) | -X- Everine had woken up early. Early before the sun had even risen. She had put on her small teardrops, combed her hair(with her fingers) then gone out and strolled around Haven. By the time the sun had begun rising, she had gone to the gardens. Where she currently was. She was tending to the vegetables, making sure they were growing properly, as well as pulling any weeds. (May add more) Edited at June 9, 2024 09:21 PM by Oakwood Barn

{:} Caden Flores 'Cade/Bolt' {:} Rat {:} M: Phantom, Open {:} Cade's head snapped to Phantom, not excpecting him to be awake. "I was thinking we could find someone new to steal from, I don't want to risk taking from the gang again." Cade wasn't wrong, they really couldn't risk taking from the gang, actully they couldn't risk getting caught. Cade had no idea where the two would go but he knew that they could figure it out.

{:} Wren Brown 'Birdie' {:} Wolf {:} M: Open {:} Birdie huffed, turning from the small, poluted, stream. Water, however gross it was, was in high demand. If she could find a container she could take some of the water for herself. She began to walk into The City, glancing around her. She couldn't see anyone, and she knew that the Rats, the ones who could hide, knew better than to mess with a Wolf. Birdie walked slowly, scanning the ground for a pitcher, or bottle. Even a small peice of concave metal would work.
