Kaelix Ryan Winston ~-----------------------------------------------~ Kaelix yawned in boredom, scrolling hid phone. He heard another trailer pull up but ignored up. He didn't really care who it was. He pulled up the message thread with: Love <3 And began scrolling through it. He frowned, staring at the last message. He missed her too... should he respond. He grunted in annoyance with himself, fixing his face. He tipped his head back, setting it against the wall behind him. Until he heard a voice he knew. His eyes shot open and he looked toward the voice. He saw a black haired woman with a flawless figure and flawless makeup. Like.. Like Lorelei? His eyebrows shot up and he scrambled off the bed, reaching for Lorelei and tugging her closer by the waist. A shocked smile spread over his lips. "Oh my God... Love, what are you doing here?" He questioned. He was confused, shocked, and completely relieved. They hadn't seen each other in person in years. Yeah they had FaceTime and stuff, but they hadn't actually touched each other in years. This was-... surreal. "You were in England. Why are you here?" He asked, voice shocked into amusement as he held onto Lorelei's hips. He reached up to her face, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear. He tugged her close, hugging her tightly. "I missed you..." Kaelix muttered. He felt so relieved he didn't have to text it... but honestly. What are the chances of this? He realized he didn't care about the chances or odds. His baby is here. In his arms. |

Emma heard approaching footsteps outside and someone talking to Mark. She listened. What was his name? Felix? Something like that. She looked up to see the door open and a very similar-to-Aaren person walk in. Was this another recruit? Huh. Emma watched him for a second as he sat down and looked at his phone. Wierd. Whatever. Should I introduce myself? No. He isn't bothering, so I shouldn't. She heard another truck and trailer pull up to the station. There's another? She listened as another person introduced themself to Mark. Another woman. He heard her walk away and sprint back, bursting the door open. The other woman stared wide-eyed at the guy. Do they know each other? Then the woman went over to the man, the man wrapping his arms around her. Oh, WHAT?! Are they dating or something? Emma watched as they sat there, embraced. I wish Aaren, I mean, someone wanted me like that... Emma tried to ignore them, and kept reading after turning off her music. It was hard to not eavesdrop on them. |

Lorelei Baumstark . --------------------------------------------------------- Confusion, Excitement, and a whole lot of other emotions flooded through Lorelei's brain as she was pulled into a tight yet gentle embrace by Kaelix...Kaelix. This felt like a dream she was going to wake up at any moment. No. This was real... He was here, right in front of her- holding her. It had been literal years since they had seen each other in person, as Lorelei had to leave for England for her college years... Her arms wrapped around his torso, her mouth pulling into a grin as her head rested on Kaelix's chest. "I- oh my god. Wait, you're actually here." She processed this out loud, "Holy shit." Lorelei laughed breathlessly, pulling away for a moment just far enough so she could see his face... his gorgeous eyes. She was quiet for a good five or so seconds before she snapped out of her trance, her lips still parted in absolute shock as she tried to form words. When she couldn't, she leaned back into his frame as he murmured quietly. "I missed you, and you're here so-" Her eyes widened against the fabric of his shirt and she gasped softly, "I came here to get an interview for a new job, the one for rescuing missing persons? Did you...did you also volunteer?" What are the chances that they actually signed up for the same position... Probably not very high. But based on where they both were at the moment, in the bunking room Mark specifically told her to go to wait for one of the guys running the program to meet up with tomorrow. Did Kaelix get told that as well? If so, then they would be working in an environment together, that was already so much like the environment they met in. She wondered these questions silently to herself as she absentmindedly traced the lines of Kaelix's arm tattoos, taking in everything. His body, scent, touch. Him. |

Kaelix Ryan Winston ~-----------------------------------------------~ Kaelix kissed Loreleis hair. Breathing out quietly. "I did... I flew in last night. Raffle got to the hotel yesterday..." He muttered against her hair. A small smile spread over his lips. "We're gonna work together. We get to see each other." He whispered, voice tinged with happiness. He hadn't seen his Ley in forever.... "I'm happy to see you Ley..." Kaelix mumbled, kissing the top of her head again. "Did you bring Jadis?" He asked, pulling back from the tight hug slightly to look down at her. She looked perfect. Her makeup done perfectly. Her hair framing her face. Her eyes sparkling. His love looked as stunning as when he last saw her... It made his stomach flip happily. "How have you been?" He asked. Kaelix didn't care that they texted every day. Well- almost everyday... His arm was beginning to ache. And he remembered he hadnt told Lorelei. But he didn't care. She was here. And he was here. And they were together. And going to work together. |

Lorelei Baumstark . ----------------------------------------------------------- Lorelei blinked up at Kaelen, slowly re-memerizing his face and voice. She listened quietly to him mention his flight in, it seemed like they've both done a lot of traveling lately. She could feel her face brighten even more when he confirmed coming for the same purpose as she had. They get to see each other every day- whenever they want. "Yeah, she's out front. She was actually the first one to notice something was up with the gelding out there- I couldn't believe it was Raffle." She smiled softly again before sitting down on the bunk closest to them, letting out a short huff. "I've been doing well actually. I mean- I think so at least, I've been missing you a lot lately. And I've been quite tired lately, especially with everything happening." Lorelei pulled her legs up onto the bed and crossed them criss-cross-applesauce, resting her hands in her lap and looking up at Kaelix. "You know what? I don't think I ever want to have to Facetime you again. I mean, maybe sometimes but definitely not as our main way of communication." She giggled quietly before sighing contentedly and leaning back on the wall, her nails drumming on the bed cusion. |

Emma couldn't stand any more of this when she wanted somebody so badly. She muttered What the hell?! I can't. I'm going running. She jumped up off the bed, ripping her headphones out of her saddlebag and storming out of the bunks. She sighed and said under her breath "I'm going to run laps around the station for a while. Be back soon." She was in jeans and boots, but what the hell. Emma walked outside and Splash nickered toward her "Not right now girl. Maybe tomorrow." She walked over and traced the markings on Splash's face. She then sighed again and walked away. She satrted off with a light walk/jog for about 1.5 laps. She then sprinted half a lap. She was dripping sweat and tired as hell. But I don't want to be around those two. She walked back inside and grabbed what she had set out for tomorrow, walking briskly to the bathroom. Emma quickly changed and scrubbed her belt buckle with an old toothbrush and some toothpaste. She walked back to the bunks and decided to take a quick nap. She had taken one earlier, but needed another. Sighing once more, she hrabbed a nearby blanket and curled up with the music blaring so she wouldn't hear the two love-birds. |

Kaelix Ryan Winston ~-----------------------------------------------~ Kaelix glanced at the other lady as she left. Okay then- He made his way over to Lorelei, sitting down with her, then scooting down a bit to lay down, resting his head in her lap. "So now you don't want to FaceTime me now? Even when you live across the world?"Kaelix sighed, feigning offense. But he couldn't stop smiling. Lorelei was here. His love was here. And he was so fucking ecstatic. He hummed, taking one of her hands and resting it against his hair. She hadn't touched him in forever. Both hadn't touched each other in forever. Kaelix relaxed into her touch, humming quietly. "What's everything that's happened?"
He questioned curiously. He winced as his arm began throbbing in pain again. He sat up, leaning over the bed and grabbing his bag with his left arm. Crap- It really sucks he broke his dominant-side arm. He shook his head, unzipping the bag and pulling out a bottle of Advil. He took three and then put the bottle back. Kaelix downed the pills and made a face before lying back down, placing his head back in Lorelei's lap. He had always hated swallowing pills. "Did you fly in with Jadis?" He asked suddenly, a smile spreading over his lips. "That must have been something else. I'm sure of it." He said, tone slightly cocky and wholeheartedly amused. Kaelix had a few new lines of ink running along his body and disappearing under his clothing. Hey- He got a bit bored. Plus his tattoo artist will never not want to give him a new tattoo.
Sorry it's short- And, when Burning Rose and Golden Groves get back to posting- I'll have Adam bring them up to the camp then I can have it slowly turn night throughout the tour of said camp. The other three- Kaelix, Lorelei, and Emma, all are going to stay in the bunks until the morning. :) |

Lorelei Baumstark . ------------------------------------------------------------------ The young woman smiled faintly and shook her head slowly at the man's accusations. Of course, she wants to stay in touch with him, that much should be obvious already. She didn't like being virtual all the time...that's all. "Nothing bad, I suppose." Her long fingers started to run through Kaelix's soft hair, her head leaning back against the wall as her eyes searched above her for something- "I don't know. College has been a whole lot of work and keeping in touch with my family and friends has been a bit strained lately. My mom visited me a couple of weeks ago, for a couple of days, so that was nice." Her lips pursed slightly, "I'm excited to get back to the way things were... everything was so much simpler-" her eyes followed Kaelix as he sat up with a wince and searched his bag for what looked like medicine. Her brows furrowed, creating a concerned and questioning look on the woman's face as she gazed down at him after his head rested in her lap again. "Oh, yeah... I thankfully got her a flight over here, Emirates Equine I think the airline she took was called. They said she was very pleasant- which I found surprising. She gets antsy very quickly when I take her places including a long trip." Lorelei looked him over slowly, trying to find any obvious sort of discomfort but when she failed to do so, her eyes met his again, "You alright? What are the pills for?" Her eyes widened and she groaned, running a hand across her face before looking back down, "Oh god- what happened when I was away? I swear if you broke something and didn't care to tell me-" She leaned her torso over to grab the dark grey pillow on the bunk, dragging it over and smacking his face quickly with it before holding it up again, "What happened?" |

Kaelix Ryan Winston ~-----------------------------------------------~ Kaelix hesitated, opening his mouth to tell her before he was hit with a pillow. He burst out laughing. "Hey! Hey!" He said, pulling the pillow away and smacking Lorelei back with it. "It was a minor break." Kaelix smiled slightly. "Plus it's healed already. I just get pains throughout my arms at times." He hummed, flipping over onto his stomach. He looked up at Lorelei lovingly, tilting his head to rest his head on her thigh. "Come onnnnnnn, Lei- don't be maddddd." He said, smiling as he reached up with his left arm- the one he managed not to hurt- and poking Loreleis cheek. He shifted to scoot closer, wrapping his arm around her waist. (Sorry its short. My phone sucks(I can add more tomorrow)) |

Aaren Grey Kitt . - It had taken far longer to pick out three snacks than it should have for himself. By the time Aaren had made his way to the self-checkout, probably 15 minutes of deciding what to get before heading to check out, he had carried with him all of the food items he had assigned himself to get from the grocery list Adam had handed out along with a packet of black licorice Twizzlers, double stuffed Oreos, and a box of Good Made granola bars- because the guy has a sweet tooth. Aaren looked around for Eloise before starting to check out, swiping the barcodes of all the items under the scanner, where was she? I mean- he couldn't really be talking, he was the one who spent 15 minutes in the same aisle, the same section trying to decide what to get... but still. Maybe she should hurry it up? He had planned to pay for the entire list and had even been feeling nice enough to possibly offer to pay for whatever Eloise had needed... but she was late, and he was impatient. Aaren finished packing up the last of the food in a paper bag, and could surprisingly fit everything in one without it being too heavy, which was good because if he was to carry this up to the camp on horseback- he would need it to be lighter in weight. For his horse's sake of course. Looking around one last time for Eloise and failing to find her, caused the young man to walk out of the grocery store in a bit of a huff. He had dug around in the grocery bag and found one of the bags of apples, took one out, and rubbed it quickly on his shirt before taking a bite out of it. "Here's half the groceries. Don't know where the hell Eloise went- but she was in charge of the other half of the groceries." Aaren shrugged nonchalantly and handed Adam the bag, swinging himself back onto Asterix who was getting noticeably irritated by how long she had been waiting. He patted her neck and cleared his throat before taking another bite of his apple and taking the grocery bag back from Adam, holding it in one arm as he looked back over at the younger man. "Any news about any of the other people interviewing arriving?" |
