The snakes mouths are ppem towards his wrist and their fangs are bared. A tattoo of a Phoenix, spreads across his entire back, beautiful and fiery, using black ink but also red. The burn scars trickle onto the wings of the Phoenix a little and give the appearance that they burned him.

Backstory: Parents were abusive, got murdered at age 12. He ran away, wandering around till age 14. Then he went to the palace and asked for work, and somehow, he became a servant there. At age 18 he became their grounds supervisor and one of their most trusted servants. No one knows much else.
