Name: Wreath of Thorns Nickname: Acanthus [Meaning: Thorned - Greek Origin] Age: 8 Years Old Gender: Stallion Breeds: Appaloosa 47% Thoroughbred 33% Warmblood 20% -------------------------------------------------------- Appearance: Acanthus is a rather fetching stallion when it comes to the looks he takes much pride in. The male holds himself in a straight and confident posture, his head held high and his ears straight, swiveled forward and alert. He's a mix of power and elegance, with a body made up of lean muscle and strong and sturdy, long legs that make for powerful and eye-catching gaits. Acanthus stands at a towering height of 17 hands, weighing in at around 1,230 pounds. His overall body structure and facial structure is more so of thoroughbreds, but with the strong legs of a warmblood. The stallion's coat is rather healthy, a slight shimmer hitting off of it when the sun catches it at the right times. His eyes are a deep, chocolaty brown that seem to pull you in when his gaze meets your own. As for his coat patterning, he takes after his appaloosa mother. Acanthus has a deep, dark bay undercoat that lightens ever so slightly near his black hooves, his chest, and his flanks. Along with that, the undercoloring of his face is a much darker bay color- almost black near his nostrils but fading lighter the further from them. That same dark color is predominant around his face, ears, back, and hind legs. Speaking of legs, Acanthus carries socks on both of his back legs that somewhat mingle with the spotty white patterning on his hindquarters and middle area. His appaloosa markings are more visible on his hindquarters, but spread out along his sides, back legs, neck, and even speckling his face. Acanthus's mane is shorter, maybe a third down his neck, and holds with it a rich brownish-black color- the same as his long tail. His voice is rather deep and baritone, often rumbling while he speaks. It always seems to hold that same bit of charm he always has with him, but its most visible when he chuckles or full-on laughs with someone about a topic. It truly is a delight to here the stallion laugh, but it can be just as domineering to hear him speak as well. He's an expressive male, but when it comes to anger, the stallion completely shut down. Staying quiet and bottling up emotions until he takes it out and makes rash decisions, his tone is usually sharp and cutting, like that of a newly honed blade. So, it's simple. Dont piss him off and everything will go soundly. Height: 17 Hands Weight: Around 1,230 lbs ----------------- Personality: When first meeting Acanthus, you'll realize that he's a downright flirt. The stallion may not even have any interest in the horse he's conversing with, and still be able to make them feel like he's absolutely interested. He's charming and persuasive, using this to his advantage quite frequently to get what he wants. However, he isn't sly and will tell you exactly what he plans on getting out of a certain situation... maybe not the entire truth, but close enough so he can still get what he's planning to. Acanthus has a fiery spirit to match his striking appearance and while he's often patient and more lenient with younger herd members, he wont take crap from anyone old and wise enough to know better. He can then become very easily agitated and short-tempered, being prone to outbursts in these times that you may rather steer clear of. He's extremely protective of his mares and foals, so if he feels like they're being threatened in any way, shape, or form- he will go out of his way to make sure they're safe, to be quite honest, he'd give up his life to make sure they'd live on. Name: Lilah Nickname: Lil, Lily, Li(lie) Age: 4 Years Old Gender: Mare Breed: Somewhat of a 'mutt', though appears to be primarily some sort of Cob crossed with Mustang Appearance: Lilah is a heavier built mare, with a shorter stature. She has a grullo coat, sporting a docal stripe but no leg striping. She is pretty much done maturing, but looks to still be lacking a little muscle for her size. She is equiped with large hooves and strong legs. Lilah has a small amount of feathering and her leg markings seem to always be coated in a layer of mud or dirt. Height: 14.3hh Weight: 1,200lbs Personality: Lilah is a more reserved horse, she usually stays quiet when possible, typically answering questions in a quiet tone. Despite this she will always be the first to use her size to try and push around anyone that proves a threat to anyone she cares for.
