Name: Vindaria (Vinda)
Age: 5 1/2 years
Gender: Female
Breed(s): Northern Rocky Mnt x Northwestern (pureblood wolf)
Appearance: Vinda, as she prefers to go by, is quite a large wolf, standing at 2.5 feet tall. She has a gorgeous white base coat, with a mixture of red highlights under her belly, chin, and ears, almost seeming to be shaded with red. She has a top layering of gray over her entire body, giving her almost a silver sheen. In the winter her fur turns a darker gray around her rump, back, and neck. Her face is predominantly white, with a streak down her nose that is a deep dark gray, and a thin lining around each eye of the same coloring. Her ears are quite striking, as they fade into an almost reddish color at the bases, while the rest is dark gray. In contrast to the rims around them, her eyes are a pale, almost minty green. Her form is strong, not necessarily bulky, but you can tell she's built for strength, and she certianly has proven that in past conflicts as a protector.
Special Charactersistics: As a protector, she has had her fair share of fights, and if you were to look hard enough, you might find the evidence of these under her lush coat. But she does have two quite noticeable scars, one just under her chin where a ferocious loner wolf had attempted to slash her throat, (he failed and lost his life beacuse of it) and the other on the pad of her left paw, giving her an extremely distinctive paw print.
Personality: This she wolf is not as fearsome as her strong build and pale eyes might cause some to think. Certainly she can be a most ferocious volatile wolf, but this is only when her pack is threatened. Her true nature though, is one of calmness, cheerfulness, and understanding. Vinda is not overly talkative, but neither is she opposed to meaningful conversations, although she does detest small talk. She is that one wolf in the pack that will be willing to listen to anyone's problems and talk them through it. Because of her openeness and willfulness to help, she is not often in any disagreements with her fellow wolves, although brusque wolves do have a tendency to get on her nerves. Many who hear her calm talk and see her peaceful, listening aura often are confused as to why she became a protector, but just because she can be peaceful, does not mean she is resistant to conflict, especially if it means keeping her pack safe, whom she is intensely loyal to. Do not underestimate this female.
Fears: ~ Fire (set by lightning or humans, it is deadly. And she knows that only too well, having lost her youngest brother to a wild fire) ~ Tight spaces (claustrophobia)
Strengths: ~ Willing to help anyone at any point in time with anything ~ Physically quite powerful ~ Swift reaction/instinct to crisis or attacks ~ She has excellent eyesight and hearing ~ Unfailingly loyal to her pack ~ Knows when to be quiet and listen ~ Often has well thought out opinions on important subjects
Role: Protector

Name: Aspen Age: 5 Gender: female Breed(s): Golden Retriever/Siberian Husky Appearance: At 57 pounds and 22 inches tall, Aspen is a sleek dog, not skinny yet not overly muscular. She has reddish-brown fur everywhere except around her nose, which is white. She has one brown eye and one blue eye, making her look almost comical. Aspen's tail is held a little higher than horizontal most of the time, but often it stands straight up or is tucked between her legs. She has a little white stripe down her muzzle, which connects to the white around her nose. Special Charactersistics: Aspen has a great nose, which is why she was chosen to be a scout. Her senses of hearing and sight are good too, a bit better than a normal retriever's. Personality: Aspen is a cunning, sharp dog. She can smell a deer from nearly ten miles away, and can hear it at about 2000 feet away. Aspen doesn't really like leading, she prefers to follow the leader, but if she is needed to take charge, she will. She cares dearly about her pack and pack leader, and will do anything to keep pups or any member safe. Aspen can be talkative, but has trained herself to be quiet so she can hear and smell more easily. But if there is a topic she is interested in, she can talk for hours. Fears: Aspen is scared of humans, bears, and Strengths: swimming, scouting (duh), Role: Scout Other: Aspen has been with this pack for about 3 years. she was found by the old pack leader and taken care of until she was 3 years old. She has been here ever since. - I'm done!
