This is totally up to you/your budget. Normally people won't sven freshmen unless they're training like 4+ week 7; I'll use a medal or glass instead. But I will also sven color matches even if the stud is low on the SHLB because I want that extra boost for the foal. If you're tight on funds, skip the sven this month and do next month if he debuts high. If funds aren't an issue, go for it!

Thank you for the suggestion, RMP. I think I'll just do a glass or medal like you said. If he does really well on the LBs I'll repeat the match in 159 with a sven.
