You just have to watch their training through. Because like I said they can do well, but they may also train very messed up. Like one area keeps going up and another wont move

I have geldings that are like SSubSub
As long as they have one S or higher they can (but not always will) do just fine. I have had a SAA gelding be my top show horse before

is it a bad thing to have a gelding with ratings under PPP? Obviously they won't be breeding so that's not an issue, but I'm just wondering if the rating still makes a difference

Welcome to my Offical pseudoFjord Breeding Project!

My starting point will be wild-capture SSS+ Ponies, and will breed using ONLY Sport Ponies.

Fjords are one of my favorite breeds, and making them 'part' of HEE is a goal I'd love to accomplish!

Base; Wild Captures of Dun Ponies SSS+
Inbreeding limited to 2nd & 3rd ancestry

First Step; Proper Genes - A/a E/e DD Ccr ONLY (Color Passing)
No inbreeding permitted.

Second Step; Full-Pedigrees of Color Passing (Foundation)
Inbreeding limited to 2nd & 3rd ancestry

Third Step; Foundations to correct Breed Standard
13.2-14.3hh (D>XC>J) Bravery S+
Strength, Movement, Intelligence, Heart, Scope, Speed
Inbreeding limited to 3rd ancestry

Fourth Step; Standards regularly producing PPP-P+
Inbreeding limited to 3rd ancestry

Finalize; All steps completed, these new Fjords will be Branded & given a custom image to make them Official Blue Mooɳ Fjords!
