Lorelei furrowed her brows, "Are you okay, honey? You seem stressed," she asked gently.

"I'm fine"

"Kai, baby, no you're not," she whispered, sitting down next to him. "Whats going on, baby?"

"I'm just overwhelmed. Seeing Cody was fun but my father and all of that is...something else"

Lorelei noticed. "Okay, I understand," she murmured. "After we eat, do you wanna distraction?"

"If you want that, yes" he said, nodding slightly. Food arrived soon after and Kai carried it to the bed. "Here, darling" he said, pecking her head and setting her food n front of her

Lorelei smiled. "Anything for you, honey," she hummed. She smiled. "Thank you," he pecked his cheek, digging in.

Kai ate and watched Lorelei with adoration and wonder with a small smile on his face
