Decided to share some of my poems. - (I wrote it when I was like 8 so don't judge me xD) This one is for all the people who have struggled or lost loved ones with flood waters. - The Rain by holly Drip, Drop, Drip, Drop Down pours the rain Drip, Drop, Drip, Drop Down a horse’s mane Drip, Drop, Drip, Drop - The rain pours Like never before There’s nothing left So just, Drip, Drop, Drip, Drop Cover the ground Fill the house Please though, Leave without a sound - Drip, Drop, Drip, Drop Just go away, In the night, During the day Sometime today Like a train on the tracks Stealing through the night Depart from us Drip, Drop, Drip, Drop - Drip, Drip, Drip The rain is gone The sun is out The ground is dry Ready to start again But, During the night Like a lion stalking it’s prey The rain starts, To bring more dreary days Drip, Drop, Drip, Drop - Feel free to give feedback :) |
