Muh-Vay-Tuh Mevaita are humans that can shapeshift into wolves. When they are in this form they can also heal any creature. Realm: The Day Kingdom --- also known as the Kingdom of Jewels, sparkles with crystaline lakes, rivers, and waterfalls. Its people are kind-hearted, welcoming, and prosperous. Even so, enemies lay in the shadows, waiting to pounce. . Appearance: Human: Wavy medium-length dark brown hair, dark toffee colored skin, golden eyes. Birthmark shaped like a tree leaf. Is forced to wear fancy attire, but prefers looser, less elaborate clothing. Her mother and maid both think she looks best in blue, while Adele believes neutral tones fit her taste better. (More outfit info here) Wolf: Chestnut fur, bushy tail, same birthmark in the same place as in human form. The only other feature that stays the same is her yellow eyes. Height: Human: 5' 5" Wolf: 27" at the shoulder . Weight: Human: 120 lbs. Wolf: 68 lbs . Personality: Will do anything for her people, righteous, just, fair, kind-hearted, caring, submissive, obeying, quiet, tries to speak her mind but is afraid of the consequences, worries a lot. She will always listen to and obey her father, mother, and people who rank higher than her. Worries so much about everyone, and is always silently thinking that she could do better then what her parents are doing for the kingdom. Loves animals nearly more than other people. She has learned to read their body language, but is most at home with them when in wolf form. . Beliefs and Values: You can always do something. To make the kingdom as happy as you can, you must treat everyone fairly. Magic is beautiful, but dangerous. Always be cautious when around magic. Animals should be treated like neighbors. . Notable Traits: Golden eyes. Nearly invisible for how quiet she is. Stunningly beautiful. Will burst out in indignation if something she hates is happening. Backstory: Adele, firstborn to Victoria and Ranulf Navvara, sparked joy as soon as she was born. She was a bright, beautiful, charming little girl, and everyone in the kingdom adored her. But when she was 14, something changed. (see below) Adele became quiet, worrysome, and insecure. She isolated herself from everyone and only spoke when spoken to, and even then in short sentences and vague descriptions. Her parents could not figure out what had turned Adele so... shy. Adele lived through her teenage years lonely, with only her horse, Calvin, and other creatures to cheer her up. She continued with her studies, learning all that was to be learned by a queen, but lacking enthusiasm. . Adele discovered she was a Mevaita when she was 13 years old. She was exploring in the woods and she found a dying deer. She turned into a wolf and healed the deer, only realizing what she'd done when she was back to a human. Though she didn't realize it, as soon as she transformed that first time, a black prescence settled into her soul, and whispered evil thoughts to her whenever it had the chance. She then began to research everything known about Mevaita, and when she realized what danger she was in as one of them, she hid herself from the world. Just as Adele was about to promise herself that she wouldn't hide anymore, her parents announced that she would be marrying Prince August, who lived only a few miles to the north, when she turned 25. Prince August was the most stuck-up person she had ever met. He didn't care about anything but himself, jousting, and, on the rare occasion, his beagle Henry. Horrified to have to marry such a man, Adele never made the promise and continued hiding. Adele hopes to push back the dark forces that tell her to run and hide from everyone, and actually live her life. . Current Conflict: Family has arranged for Adele to marry someone she hates. She'll be banished if people find out that she is a Mevaita. The dark shadow that haunts her, telling her that she needs to keep her power a secret, isolate herself, and give up on ever marrying for love. . Other: Arranged to marry Prince August. His black hair falls thick and wild, framing a strong jawline and eyes like polished onyx—deep and unreadable. From his shoulder blades unfurl vast, powerful wings of dark membrane, resembling those of a great dragon. Unlike scaled dragon wings, Caelan’s are smooth and leathery, almost translucent at the edges, with veins pulsing faintly like whispered magic. When fully spread, his wings span wide enough to cloak him entirely in shadow. His presence commands attention—equal parts regal and ominous.
Personality Caelan carries the weight of his future crown with solemn grace. He is calm and measured, every word deliberate, as if each syllable holds the fate of his people. Years of training in court intrigue and battle have sharpened his mind and steel in his heart. Despite his royal bearing, he is haunted by the legacy he must fulfill—and the doubts that whisper in quiet moments. He dreams of a kingdom where darkness is not feared but honored, where shadows protect rather than suffocate. Loyal to his people above all, he is willing to make sacrifices no one else dares to. Backstory Born during the rare Night Veil eclipse, Caelan’s birth was seen as both a blessing and a curse. The Night Kingdom, shrouded in eternal twilight, has long been ruled by a bloodline touched by draconic magic—manifest in their wings. Caelan’s wings emerged as sleek, shadowy dragon-like appendages without scales, marking him as the true heir destined to bridge the human and ancient draconic legacies. From a young age, he was trained in martial combat, diplomacy, and the arcane arts that govern the kingdom’s mystical balance. His father, King Ardyn Thorne, rules with iron will, but whispers of rebellion stir in the court. The Night Kingdom’s fragile peace depends on Caelan’s ascent. He must master his powers and unite the fracturing noble houses before enemies both within and beyond the shadows seize the throne.

The early morning sunlight danced across the ground as a young woman carefully made her way through the underbrush. A rabbit hopped in front of her path and stopped right in front of her. Adelaide Navvara knelt down and cupped her hands around the little creature, lifting it to her face. "Hello, little one." She said softly, smoothing the fur on the rabbit's ears. It lifted its nose up and nuzzled Adele's chin, its whiskers tickling Adele, making her laugh lightly. She gave the rabbit another caress, then set it down on the forest floor and said, "Time to go home now." She stood up, gazing around her at the little oasis she had found and used as her escape from the world inside the castle. The clearing that she stood in was about 10 yards wide and 12 long, with a stream running through the west end and a garden Adele had planted herself on the north side, filled with carrots, lettuce, and potatoes that she worked every day to keep the animals who lived there healthy and happy. Adele breathed in the fresh morning air and sighed in peace. The only sounds here were the brook, the wind rustling the tree branches, and her animal friends frolicking in their freedom. Back home in the castle, Adele had to wear tight-fitting, way-too-fancy-and-uncomfortable dresses. It was stuffy, either way too hot or much too cold, and filled with people who were obsessed with asking her questions. 'How are you feeling today, Miss Adelaide?' and 'That color looks wonderful on you, we should get more dresses like that made immediately!' and 'How are your studies coming along, Addi?' The only thing good about the castle was her little brother Alban, who always rode on her back and asked sweet, innocent questions that Adele knew how to answer. Out here, in the forest, Adele was free from all pressures that were most definitely present inside the castle, and she could be herself. |
