A Soldier’s Mind Guns, whistling bullets, close calls with death Fighting in the army, saving your country This is the life that you crave You want to leave me, possibly forever You leave the country, living your dream of Marchin, shootin, fightin, savin your country You miss the life you had, you want to come back A few close calls with death and a place in a hospital bed You cry: I want to go home, I’m tired of fighting! You go back to fighting, but unhappily The war is over but back home only one friend remembers you You left her and it could have been forever. You’re thankful and changed. Just a few words I threw together and revised quite abit. Hope ya'll like it. |
