Gale eventually brought her back and layed her by the fireside, starting to wash and sew her cuts shut. |

Kayla woke a while later with a wince, everything on fire. "Gale..." She whimpered |

"I'm here," He said softly, combing his fingers through her hair. |

"I know it hurts.." He trailed off, voice wavering. |

Kayla's eyes squeezed shut as the pain hit her in waves, her whole body throbbing with needles and hammers with every throb |

Gale held her close, having to narrow down what he had gone through as probably 10x worse than what she was going through, seeing it wouldn't be as bad for him but torture for her. |
