Hey y'all! This may be an unusual question, but I was curious if anyone else is into collecting/cleaning/etc animal bones? (any sort of bone art, articulating, and so on) A bit about me for context: I started getting into all this somewhat recently (originates from my passion for paleontology, I think haha). I found deer bones in the woods at my parents’ place, buried a raccoon we found (it had died in its sleep) and dug it up later, and I also have been able to get cow bones from the neighboring farm. I’m not sure what to do with all my finds (besides cleaning them up), but I’m painting one of my deer skulls. I have some other painting/display ideas in mind after that. There’s some good information resources on Google, but it would be cool to talk to any other folks on here who have this sort of hobby/interest :) Edited at December 7, 2021 10:44 AM by Magnetar Equestrian

I'm not too knowledgeable on stuff like this. But, you should try selling your bones to taxidermy people and odditie collectors. There are many on Instagram like Taxidermy Auction (they do odditie things as well). They go live a lot and if you message them, they probably could sell your stuff for you :D Magnetar Equestrian said: Hey y'all! I'd never thought of or known about that. Might have to take a look. Thanks for the info! :)

I have just recently started my collection! my coolest pieces are the two coyote skeletons (almost all of the bones) and I work at an alpaca farm and unfortunetly had a newborn baby pass so I kept her head (in my freezer rn lol) to boil down and have the skull
