I’m thinking of putting some personalised rugs/saddle pads/ head collars etc in my stable bio that have my stable name and colours on them. What do you guys think

@Hay
No, they just sit around and don't do anything when retired - I usually fire then and put the horses with a new rider :)

is a retired rider good for anything?

I'm start I ng to breed SD cross country RIDs again. Only because I have a few LB boys

I'll be using embryos for the first time next RO which is mildly terrifying.

RID are very stubborn. But I keep them out of spite.

That's what drives me to stick to them, I think. Knowing it'll feel real good to get that first WWW despite how hard they are to breed. Especially when you're working with G2s and no items.

I may later on, who knows. Pretty set on the RID's for now! More rewarding if the RID's can be stubborn.

Close enough! Always excites me to see another RID-exclusive stable. A lot of people end up branching into other breeds since RID can be... stubborn.

That's why I decided to friend you so I could keep tabs lol. I'll let ya know.
Not Aussie, "Texan" lol. Mine are working stock bred. Best breed.

Thanks! I have 100% RIDS and mostly deal with wilds, so if you're ever looking for something I might have what you need.
I saw you breed heelers, you aussie too?

So, I saw this video one of the book youtubers I watch made. She read books that began with the letters in her name. Her name is Sara so she read a book that started with an "S", then "A", and so on.
Well my name is a lot longer than four letters (Angelica), so I decided to make it a month long chanllenge for myself!
I wanted to make this forum so if anyone was interested in following my progress, seeing what books I read and how I like them, or what would be even cooler is if anyone wants to try this out along with me!
.
Here are the options I have for books for the month.
A:
A Pearl in the Storm (Tori Murden McClure)
All the Bright Places (Jennifer Niven)
All Your Perfects (Colleen Hoover)
After Anna (Alex Lake)
Asylum (Madeleine Roux)
Animal Farm (Georgia Orwell)
Aurora Rising (Amie Kaufman, Jay Kristoff)
A Wrinkle in Time (Madeleine L'Engle)
A World Away (Nancy Grossman)
N:
November 9 (Colleen Hoover)
Never Have I Ever (Joshilyn Jackson)
Not if I Save You First (Ally Carter)
Nine Perfect Strangers (Liane Moriarty)
G:
Gerald's Game (Steven King)
Ghosts of Royston (Eric G. Dove)
E:
Emily Windsnap and the Monster From the Deep ( Liz Kessler, Sarah Gibb)
L:
Lore (Alexandra Bracken)
Lessons in Chemistry (Bonnie Garmus)
Lolita (Vladimir Nabokov)
Long Bright River (Liz Moore)
Love Theoretically (Ali Hazelwood)
Love on the Brain (Ali Hazelwood)
Lethal (Sandra Brown)
Little Boy Missing (Lizzie Fry)
I:
I Rode a Horse of Milk White and Jade (Diane Lee Wilson)
If Only I Had Told Her (Laura Nowlin)
Imaginary Stranger (Minka Kent)
C:
Caught (Harlen Coben)
Confess (Colleen Hoover)
Cold Cold Bones (Kathy Reichs)
Confessions on the 7:45 (Liza Unger)
Coming Clean (Kimbery Rae Miller)
A:
Animal Farm (George Orwell)
.
I will highlight the books within the letter as I read them and I will leave reviews for them here when I finish them! I have a mix of genres to choose from for the most part. I am a mood reader so I just pick up what I am in the mood for. I may also end up reading some on my kindle that may not be on the list, but I will add them if that happens. These are just all of the physical books that I own for each letter. I hope this is interesting to someone! Lol Thank you for reading!

Starting with All Your Perfects by Colleen Hoover!
I was in the mood for a romance. I have been reading a lot of thrillers lately. I also love Colleen Hoover's books. They are always a 4-5 star.
Will update with my review when I finish!
.
3/5 stars
It was a cute book, but there is no real plot to the story. :)

I finished Not if I Save you First by Ally Carter last night!
3/5 stars as well. I was very slow at first, but made up for it in the second half! Very fast read!

Sorry I haven't updated this! Starting back at college is crazy.
.
I read Ghosts of Royston on my kindle, because I wasn't in the mood for king at the moment. It was 4/5!
Highly recommend but look up trigger warnings!
It was very cool the survival wilderness setting.
.
I have now started Emily Windsnap (#2).
I know they are "kids" books, but sometimes you need a cute little refresh.
.
.
Update! I finished Emily Windsnap! A cute little book as alwasy 3/5 stars. Not sure what I am starting next, but I will update when I decide!

So I am running behind on my reading due to school. Lol so I am listening to a few audiobooks to catch up!
.
I am currently reading Little Boy Missing on my kindle, and I listened to the Audiobook for Imaginary Stranger.
.
Imaginary Stranger was a 3/5. It was a pretty cool book. Nothing to write home about. Lol.

Little Boy missing was 2/5 stars. Not a great book. It dragged on way more than it needed to and ended without conclusion.
.
I also listed to the audiobook for Coming Clean. 3/5 It was a nice memoir. I have always had an interest in the minds of hoarders and to hear the story of someone who grew up in that environment was interesting.

I barely finished this challenge on time. Lol
My last book was Animal Farm. I obviously read this my freshman year of high-school for a class, so it was a reread technically. It was cool, but not something I am into now. 2.5/5
