Eury,
I guess that makes sense. Odd.

Catalina,
I've never been toooo terribly odd after anesthetics. Never had morphine until today though, so I guess we'll see if it's any different lol

Anybody have any good tips for keeping your horse blanket snaps and clips from banging in the dryer? Trying to clean up from winter, what a racket!

Mom was on tramadol for awhile and became addicted. She said that trying to stop it made her hurt worse than the pain she was being treated for

Catalina,
A little! I don't hike a lot but I do go on walks through nature trails. I do a lot of birding! Most of my exercise comes from working in a zoo lol

My brother and his wife live out in SLC and they keep pining for us to move out there. Idk if I could do an extended winter like that, but we have another year to decide. Are you big into hiking?

Man, as a side note... Now that I'm experiencing it, I cannot understand how anybody could be addicted to morphine. What a strange feeling lol.

Catalina,
Cold. Snowed all the way into May consistently. Constantly icy. And the air was very dry, barely any humidity! But the mountains were gorgeous.

Ah. Was just curious lol. I hope they sing pretty at the very least!

I'm glad you love it!! I was considering taking a contract down there, it was outside of Chattanooga, a town called Signal Mountain actually. I've never been to Colorado, what was that like?

Catalina,
And so sweet! He's taken such great care of her. They've been at my feeder, too. I also have two Tufted Titmice who visit daily. :)

I am a huge book worm. I read mainly YA books because I don't want to grow up. I recently read The Cruel Prince trilogy and House of Salt and Sorrows (really out of my comfort zone but I loved it).
What kind of books do you like to read? Recommendations? Books you absolutely loathe? Gimmie all the tea.
I'll keep you updated on what I've been reading and leave spoiler-free reviews in case you are looking for recommendations. :)

I read a lot of YA novels, mostly sci-fi, fantasy or realistic fiction. Depending on what you're into, I'd recommend Daughter of Smoke and Bone (fantasy, present day, some gore) or Ninth House (also fantasy, present day, slightly gorier)

Oh I loved Ninth House! Six of Crows by that same author is also a really good read.
One book that I read last year that really ticked me off was Ashlords. It was supposed to be so, so good and it just wasn't, and it had a really good premise too. :(

When a book is supposed to be good and just isn't is the worst.

I just bought The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue and I hope it's as good as people are saying! I want to read it before school starts back on the 20th.

You should check out this forum ^
It has a lot of recommendations and discussions and whatnot. A bunch of them are YA and there's a good amount of YA fantasy recommendations in there.
