West glanced around. He saw Dixie looked particularly upset... he wondered if gen should go over there or stay away. Phantom caught West's eye as she walked out. He was worried about her... but he definitely understood needing alone time sometimes. He took a deep breath, shaking his mane and stepped into the stream, letting the water run around his legs.

Phantom got halfway to the plains before deciding to stop she didn't want to be too far from the herd. She found a tree taking refuge under it to hide from the heat of the day, she dropped and rolled on the ground as if trying to roll all her problems away. She stood up snorting and flicking her tail finally starting to relax as she shifted her weight to one leg and let the other one bend to relax. Phantom shut her eyes letting the peace settle in

West looked around again. He understood Phantom needed *alone time* but if she didn't come back soon he was going out there... West stomped a hoof, slightly anxious. His whole herd was nervous... and he didn't like it. They needed to be out on the plains where they could run, where there was so much space you weren't cooped up together, and where you could get some privacy. This valley was only a little snippet of his land... West made sure he had enough territory to accommodate all the mares he had and more.

Phantom shook her head letting her mane fly everywhere she sighed and look at the valley. She didn't want to go back yet but knew she had been gone quite a while so she started slowly making her way back, she'd look back occasionally to the spot she was at wondering if she should just stay out here for a little longer but forced herself to walk back. Once she reached the valley again she got back up on her hill and layed down

West was almost starting to walk out when he saw Phantom appear at the top of the hill. He let out a sigh of relief, turning back and drinking some water, shaking his pelt. He knew the mares needed to get out... so West had made the decision to leave in a couple days. It was Better for them all

Phantom layed quiet for a while just relazing but suddenly that relaxation turned into bordem. She'd look around at the herd trying to figure out what to do before getting up and heading down to the river to get a drink

|
West flicked his tail. He was... admittedly a little bored. Were leaders of herds allowed to get bored...? West snorted, a sigh escaping. Decisions decisions...

Phantom got to the river taking a long drink of water she'd gaze up at everyone keeping her head down to the river. She was trying to find a cure for her bordem, she then laid eyes on West who had his back turned to her. She grinned then quietly and lightly walked up behind him trying not to alert him, Phantom knew it might be hard to alert him but she sure did try her best. As soon as she got up behind him she let out a squeal popping up on her hind legs yelling "Boo!"

|
West heard Phantom walk down to the stream and take a drink. He yawned, looking up at the sky and waiting for it. -wait for it... wait for it...- he thought, then heard a loud BOO right behind him. He grinned and slowly turned around. "Ah" he let out a weak reply, chuckling. "You may be a little too predictable." West laughed, teasing her.

Phantom giggled like a little foal "You could've at least gave your scream a little enthusiasm" She smiled before flicking him with her tail and trotting off to find her next cure for bordem
