West really was tired.. and after he checked to make sure everyone was okay he did fall asleep. He felt much calmer when he was sleeping... and you could visibly see his body relax. His shoulder was barely bleeding.. just a lot of bruising. West was sure it would hurt more in the morning... but for doing something so stupid, he deserved it

Phantom hobbled around unsure of what to do with herself but she defidentily not wanting to lay back down. She looked around at the herd, she watched the foals especially since they always seemed to be doing something interesting

West woke sooner rather than later... and he was right, his shoulder did ache. "Idiot." He muttered, forcing himself to his feet and shaking the grass and dust off. He flicked his tail, stretching his neck and glancing around at the herd to make sure everyone was okay. He was slightly worried Phantom was up and hobbling around... but she wasn't putting much weight on the leg. It just wouldn't heal a small fast. He glanced at the foals, then the other mares

Phantom turned noticing West was up then she noticied the his shoulder, she limped over a bit fast wincing at a few steps "What do you do to your shoulder?" Her voice was filled with concern as she looked at him waiting for an answer

West glanced at Phantom. He had this weird thing where he couldn't tell a lie... it just made him so upset he couldn't do it anymore. He frowned slightly and answered, "I may have bashed it against a tree a couple times." He shifted slightly, keeping most his weight spread out evenly to show it didn't hurt that bad

Phantom sighed not wanting to ask him why he did it knowing it'd probably upset him more "You really need to be more careful with yourself" She nudged him "Come on go clean it up in the river it's full of dirt" She looked at him wondering why he would do that to himself.. It seemed stupid to want to do that but after the conversation they just had maybe that was the way he got rid of his strong emotions

West flinched. He could tell Phantom was... confused? Angry? Exasperated? In any case, he knew what's he did wasn't the smartest. It was the first time he did that since he saw Menace last... which almost made it worse. Which is why West just followed Phantom without arguing,.. he didn't want to make the situation worse.

she dropped her head as she watched the large stallion. she felt like she should go up to him, but she decided against it. she was one thing: SHY. she sighed as she forced her eyes to fall to the ground. she took a few steps and dipped her hooves into the stream. she lowered her head and watched her reflection in the water Edited at April 19, 2023 04:19 PM by Sky Stables

West shook his mane, walking into the water and splashing his shoulder, washing out the dirt. He knew Phantom was right: it would get worse if he didn't. West glanced around, seeing Dixie in the stream a little ways down, staring into the water. He hoped she was okay... she didn't look quite right.

Dixie snorted at her reflection. she pawed at the horse in the water. her reflection fluctuated in the ripples of the water. she flicked her tail, lost in thought
