West shook his head slightly. Wow. She really did remind him of Ebony, like right now. They were doing almost the exact same thing. At her words his ears swiveled with slight surprise as he tried to figure out exactly what she meant. By the tone in her voice there was obviously a sort of veiled message, but she also sounded slightly hesitant. It didn't matter. He wasn't going to try to figure out what it meant- he was horrible at that. She would tell him when she wanted to get a point across. "Maybe." Was all he said, watching Ebony with a slight grin. - Ebony looked over at Ghost. "Of course I'm fine! I make weird noises all the time!" She chirped before Galloping over to West and Dixie. "Heeeellllooooo"

Dixie was about to tell him what was on her mind, but Ebony saved her. "Hello dear!" She greeted with a prance. "Whatcha doin?" She lowered her head to bunp her softly.

Ebony flicked her curly silver tail. "Talking to you, isn't that plain?" She answered with a grin, her little blue eyes alight. "What YOU doing?" She asked with a slight bounce of her hooves, looking back and forth in between them. - West greeted Ebony with a nod of his head, resisting a laugh at the two's greetings. She was sure going to have some of the best foal comebacks of the century. He could tell already. Plus the *how's the weather up there* for Ghost really won his heart over.

Dixie giggled "I'm talking to good ole West over here!" Dixie mimiced her bounce with a bounce of her own hooves. Dixie pranced around the filly with a smile.

Ebony tossed her mane. "Talking to him is always entertaining. He says stuff in a funny way." She joked with a giggle, then peered at West. "Always like he's afraid he might say stuff wrong. For the record, I think you always say stuff right." She chirped, nudging his chest before bouncing around Dixie and stopping with a flick of her tail. "I noticed your leg is hurt. Why?" - West flicked his ears slightly, listening to what the filly said. HOW could she notice stuff like that? He didn't even! But it was sort of true. He stepped around his words carefully, at least right now. At Ebony's last sentence to him, he had to fight back a plain grin. How. Could. She. Do. That. He could barely tell when he was speaking what he meant. And she could just, like, poof I know all your secrets.

"Don't be like me in this sense: I got bit by a shark. Thankfully I saved my best friend so it wasn't that bad." Dixie flicked West with her tail. "Looks like I need to start taking lessons from you Ebony!" Dixie was careful where she stepped because she didn't want to cause more damage to her leg than necessary.

Dixie stopped. Where WAS Lazarus? "I- I don't know" Dixie started at a walk, going towards the woods. "Lazarus! Where are you" she sped up to a trot towards the beach, her limp prominent. She started to worry when she didn't see or hear him. "Laz!" She picked up a canter even though it was really painful. She stopped at the beach to see a lion standing at the beach. The lion turned and growled at her. It leapt towards her, teeth bared when a different lion ran in from the side, tackling it and biting its neck. The first lion thrashed his legs but ended up losing the fight. Lazarus stood up from the body, his lips licking the blood off his teeth. She walked up to Dixie and nuzzled her. Dixie lowered her head in a hug. "Oh Laz"

Ebony's eyes widened. "A SHARK!?!" She squeaked, blinking a couple times. "And yes you do!" She puffed out her chest, looking proud. - West lifted his head as Ghost mentioned Lazarus. He glanced at Dixie with concern, immediately limping after her quickly. He fell behind a little as she trotted away, but he jumped into a stumbling canter as he saw a mountain Lion that was NOT Lazarus. He slid to a stop beside Dixie, his eyes widened slightly as Laz jumped out and fought the other Lion. He breathed out a huff of relief as Laz seemed fine, walking towards them. - Ebony followed at a small gallop, squeaking in terror as she saw two huge mountain lions. She hid behind West, her eyes wide. "Why are you nuzzling him?" She asked in a high pitched voice, confused at why this one wasn't attacking.
