Dixie nodded "yep. Someday" she quickened to a trot as he picked it up. She had to canter a few steps every now and then to keep up "hey Mr long legs! Slow it down a little for me here" (lol heavvvvvy sarcasm)

West shortened his strides slightly with a small grin at her words. "Not my fault I'm tall. Blame genetics." He joked, keeping his ears perked and ready for anything. The slight breeze felt nice and cooling on his still damp skin, and he really hoped everything went well.

Dixie was able to keep up since he slowed down. She ended up cantering anyway because the long strides were hurting her leg a little. She followed him around like a shadow

West slowed even more when he saw Dixie still cantering. They just couldn't walk, but they were going fast enough to make it to the jungle with a couple breaks. A ways in he slowed considerably, dropping into a walk. (Since Hyrule has disappeared from the universe, let's skip time to when they come back)

Lol) - Even after he slowed down, she kept cantering but she slowed to a calm, collected canter. When he slowed to a walk, she slid to a stop, picking up the walk after a second to breath.

(Okiii, time portal opens) - They had gone all the way to the jungle, searched for a whole day, and came up with nothing. Now they were just a couple hours from being back, and thankfully they hadn't got lost along the way. At this point West was walking, a bit depressed that they hadn't found Mystery, even though he had known that was going to happen. He didn't show it though, and tried to act normal for Dixie.

Dixie was tired, but she pushed on so West wouldn't say she needed to go back. She tiredly walked circles whenever they stopped. She knew that if she stood still, she would fall asleep for sure. She stayed right next to West, her stomach bumping him as she walked. She yawned, a weird feeling fluttering in her stomach.

West glanced at Dixie worriedly. She was obviously exhausted. "We're almost back." He said quietly, nudging her shoulder before moving forward a little more slowly than before. He was a little worried about her, but there was nothing he could do right now. Soon they got even closer- it was just over another hill.

She forced her legs to keep walking, but the hill was brutal. "West... I don't know If I can make it..." her legs were giving a soft shake, but her head told her to keep going
