Phantom dipped her head "Sorry... What really was going on is you were just thinking of a actual logical reason they were fighting" She glanced between Macy and Dixie "not a silly feud over you" She turned back loooking at the ground flicking her tail

She sighed as she thought of why her sister attacked her. Was she so done with stallions to the point where she wanted her shy little sister to be in the same place she was, hiding out in a different stallion's herd just to get away from Flame? -that can't be it...- Dixie snorted as she nipped at a blade of grass that was tickling her. -I'm just the shyest horse on earth I guess...- she rolled, kicking her legs in the air as she scratched herself on the hard ground, opening some wounds again. She stood, shook, and stepped into the water, laying down to wash herself off.

West glance at Phantom with a slight chuckle. "Okay then. Well I'll be heading off to talk to Dixie... and hope it doesn't make her uncomfortable. I want to figure out the reason so I can understand and prevent it next time." West flicked his ears, dipping his head to Phantom before walking over to where Dixie was in the water. "Hey, how are you doing?" West asked, trying to start a ... normal conversation

"still a little... frightened... at life at the moment, but i'll live" she added the last bit in an effort to lighten the tension between them. the last time she had seen a stallion get angry like that, she had decided she was running away and never went back. she only spoke to four horses: Macy, Scarlet, Mystery and West, but she only had real conversations with one: West

West felt... wilted. "Dixie... you do know I am really sorry? I promise I won't ever get angry again... I was just confused and didn't know what to do." West stated quietly, his eyes almost pleading. He hated feeling like this...

she dropped her head to the water for a quick sip before she lifted it, waterd dripping from her muzzle. she nodded sympathetically "i get that... i was confused too... i'm sorry i turned against my sister, but honestly, i can't beat her... the only thing i can do is run" she dropped her head "that's why my sister has always been a bully... she keeps saying i'm a push over and i have always believed her... until now. i stood up to her and now look at me..." she looked at her reflection, her reopened wounds slowly trickling blood

West sighed. "I wish I could help you... but I can't. For two reasons. It isnt ,y place to interfere in your matters... and I really wouldn't know what to do." West said quietly. He glanced at Dixie. "Just remember... physical wounds will heal but mental wounds rarely do." He murmured, nudging her before walking away slowly. He wished he could give her more help...

she watched him walk away, but then decided to trot over to him, leaving the approaching Macy alone in the dust. Scarlet was pawing at the water. Dixie flicked her tail as she slowed next to him. "it's almost my birthday" she said with her head raised high

West stopped as he heard Dixie coming up behind him. He turned his head and flicked his ears, raising an eyebrow. "It is? That's cool." West tried to think when his birthday was... he could barely remember. "What day?" He asked, not really knowing what else to say... except for 'happy birthday'
