I do not know if this is a bug, or am I missing something altogether? when I enter a horse in the jousting, then finally see another team available to joust, when I try the joust, i get an instant error message that my 'horse is too tired to joust' and I 'have to wait 15 minutes to try again' (When I have not tried ata ll, in the first place) what gives?

I got the same thing when I signed up. Tried two opponets and got the same message as Summer of Pearls. It also didn't say if my horse won or not in the bout.

Did you joust them and then refresh the screen? That message comes up if you try to joust them too soon (before 15 minutes have passed)

This was a tough bug to solve, but it is, at last, fixed now.
