Good point.
Already took care of that an hour or so ago.

Fully within budget too.

Mostly juggling the idea of staying in the Small Barn category.

It would be nice to have new show stock as my current is a bit sparse.

I guess a pasture can't ever hurt. If it just sits there growing grass/hay... or babysitting the young boys.

Oh someone just press the button for me! Haha XD

Memory, this one will be a bit harder to tell as the angle of the picture doesn't portray the horse well. It's more 3/4 than a profile view. I'll do my best anyway! ^^

She appears to me to have a litte bit of sway back. Her shoulder and pastern angles are a bit steeper than I'd like. I'm not exactly sure what hunter's do, but depending on the discipline, shorter strides are better welcomed.

Her back end it nice and seems well balanced and countoured. She is longbacked and short in the front and neck, so her front end may be a bit heavier and clumsy.

She also looks over at the knee in the front but otherwise good. They way she stands in the back is the exact same way my boy stands which leads me to believe she might be camped out in the back.

Overall, she looks like she is thinner boned but it could just be they way her legs are positioned. She looks overall well muscled. All in all, she's a good little pony. I bet she does really well in the arena! ^^

This was about 9 months ago when we first got her and discovered a horrible leg injury (nine-inch scar), was on-and-off soundness and was skinny and clipped to the bone. The kid was just standing there and didn’t even try to stand her up. Unfortunately her lease ended maybe two weeks ago so I don’t have her at the barn any more. I can definitely look for more recent images, but they’ll likely be even worse of a job standing her up or her moving/jumping lol. Once she put weight on we saw how heavy boned she honestly was (no where close to draft but heavy for a Welsh Pony, if you’ve ever seen those practically Arabian-looking Welsh Mountains). If the kid didn’t get refusals and got the changes cleanly she’d win everything. Only thing is she tried to gallop away at shows and since there’s the no-martingale rule for flat classes, we used a double twisted wire snaffle as her bit (harsh as it gets on a D-Ring). She wasn’t exactly a sweetheart on the ground either. Took my friend’s fingers in to her mouth once when she was really upset with the horse next to her. So yeah overall lovely little mare. She’s also a hard-worked 19 year old 13.2 hand pony and you might just know how harsh it can be to get down to Pony Finals. If anything she’s a bit clumsy in back.
She only won the model as a medium green against like 80 ponies so I’d assume her confirmation pretty decent.
EDIT: just added a little more info to this post

Only critiques I have on your boy Ally is that his neck is rather wide and he seems to maybe be sickle hocked in the back legs (could be the way he's standing). He's nice and wide with a nice hind end and shoulder. I find his conformation
to resemble the build of many other Mustangs and personally think he's put together pretty well :)

Fancy, oh geez. He's got the cutest face, but those legs! Those poor poor legs! XD I'll definitely go into detail about this here in a sec.

He's mid-backed (about the same length as his underline) which makes him stronger to hold a rider and help get his back end under him. He looks well-muscled and thick boned. That's all I can see except for he might be short necked. He could just have a really monstrous head XD He also appears well balanced to me throughout.

Now....for those legs. I immediately notice he's camped under on both ends. He is severely toed in on that front half and horrifically cow-hocked on the back. This toed in issue may cause a paddling gait. I'm not sure due to how severe it seems if it is an issue or not or maybe it's just how he's standing he might even be twisting on his leg to appear pigeon-toed. Being as cow-hocked as he is, it may even be causing some severe stress on the hocks. I've been dealing with it in my boy and about all you can do is make sure they're doing okay. I'd assume with how old he is already, he's likely doing fine though. ^^

He looks like he's got coon foot bad too (extremely low flying pasterns). Otherwise, he's super cute. I like him, but his legs are pretty darn bad. Bad leg conformation of almost any kind causes unnecessary tension and stress on the legs and joints. So, just be careful of that I'd say. Particularly with him being older. ^^

He has a big head lol my mom calls him a bobble head horse. I have noticed that he seems gaited? He picks his legs up when he trots like a Tennessee walking horse would other than that he hasnt had any problems :) thank you for informing me of his legs! I definitely will keep my eye on them :)

Here is another picture

Here's my guy just for fun. This is an older photo since he is now retired. We showed through training level/prelim eventing and when he was no longer able to jump we competed to 2nd level dressage, began schooling 3rd level before I retired him.
He is an OTTB (off track Thoroughbred) and stands 17.2/17.3 with shoes.
Below photo from a month or so ago. Obviously lacking topline because he is a pasture ornament now hahaha

HMH, awww! Arab ponies are just the cutest little muffins! XD

He is camped in on both ends but with some nice, straight legs. His pasterns look shorter to me, but might be because of the upper camera angle. Shoulder/pastern/hip angles appear alright. His neck is proportional it seems. He is nice and thick boned. Looks a lil' bit fat but I expect that from old ponies! LOL

His hooves are of concern to me though. He has very little heel (almost nonexistent). I would probably check in with your farrier on that (as long as it's not been known). Although, please do remember I'm new at this so this might be a load of hoo-ey. XD

He's nice, well balanced and with some nice good bone! Good looking old man you've got here! :D

Thanks, our old farrier trashed his feetm We have a new lady who's already done wonders for him. He does have a bit of a belly, but I prefer it over a skinnier old man, lol.

Holly, assuming mini conformation is the same as horse conformation, I'll nit-pick accordingly! XD

He looks maybe, so very slightly over at the knee. He's long backed. He also looks like he might be camped under at the back. Shoulder and hip angles look good. Might be a little bit uphill. He appears well-balanced and thick-boned! He looks like a lovely little man! :D
