Majority of the mod staff are english or atleast fluently speak it as a second language, it is easier for modding and controling situations that everything public is in english, youre allowed to speak whatever language you wish in your game mail

Yes well many people who speak in different languages say their language is the best lol. My Grandpa (Who is full french Canadian) when he was learning english was like, "French doesn't have all the words that look alike at the end but sound different like "Through, Cough, Though, etc etc." lol

Horse games are pretty much a niche, there are not many options by default.
But English is a very popular and should be a second language to a lot of people.

This is an English-speaking game developed and hosted by English-speaking people. There will be plenty of games in other languages for non-English speakers I'm sure. I wouldn't know since there's no point in looking for games in languages you don't speak
Sweet Valley
11:23:01 Anna/Jewel
Well I am not sure about the game translating. Perhaps they use the whatever-their-language-is- to -english thingy lol.

Lynx- I am 1/4 French Canadian but I can really only say "Hello" "My name is" and "Yes" in French lol. I used a translator for the stuff after "Hello"(The french hello) lol

Oh absolutely, I can totally see that.

Thing is, supporting other languages means also having staff that speaks their language to help them out, as well as having different communities. It's a massive project that could easily get out of hand.

Ah okay, thanks Min. I tried to find that in the rules but I must have overlooked it,

We had a recent Explore Update to fix the encounters so that they are more in line with the bravery rating and training. I've seen comments that members are having trouble getting their horses rated. So we have a poll to ask if I need to tweak it a bit to make it harder.

Poll Question: Is Explore bravery rating too difficult?
Total Votes: 139
Yes : 3827%
No : 64%
It's just right. : 9065%
Other (Describe) : 54%

You have cast your vote.

It's kind of hit-or miss. The other day, I had 6 E wilds back-to-back spook in under 3 moves, then a half hour later, it took 36 moves for a S brave to spook.
Would it be possible to change it so unrated horses get more obstacles (and fewer photo opportunities) regardless of hidden bravery? It feels like explore is heckling me when it takes all 50 moves to rate a P or below :')

I don't feel like changes are needed. Yes, sometimes horses take a long time to spook but that's what wormy apples are for, and those stock regularly in the shop

True, though they only do so much😞I can(and often do) use over half a dozen per horse and it still ain't enough to make them spook lol

I agree that it's hit or miss. It definitely takes longer to test braves now, but I can still get 6 or 7 rated in a good run, where I could do 8 or 9 before so I don't think it's that much of a difference. And you do still get E or W braves that will spook right away (thank god!). I wouldn't like to speak for those who have loads and loads to test though- I have more than the average for sure but nowhere near the number of the bigger bravery stables.

I was JUST asking bravery breeders (the breeders themselves, not the generalized community) the other day how they tolerate it... And the consistent answer was that they barely do.
.
If you've got one or two horses, the current way to rate them is very chill and very comfortable.
.
But if you specifically breed for bravery? Not only do you have to hold the foals for a whole month since they can't be ridden (extra space taken up), but then actually rating them takes soooo much time. I really don't want to talk about the sheer number of times I've tried bravery breeding and then lost motivation when it came to rating the foals.
.
Sadly I was told there's a reason finding breeders dedicated purely to bravery is uncommon.

I don't breed bravery, but I always test all the wilds I catch after capture days and I haven't really noticed a change in the difficulty when it comes to rating horses. Before it, in a good run I could do 8 or 9 like Minerva says but there would be plenty where I could only get 2 or 3. That's still pretty much what I'm experiencing.

Agree with this, hate that it takes below P rating awhile to actually spook using up 25-the whole 50 moves :/

This!! I have a pasture specifically for bravery and my foals take up a bit of room and I can't rate them or even get a head start on training in the round pen. I wish there was a way to test it before they were 2, kind of how we can train yearlings before they're able to show. Then I could make space in the pasture instead of half of it being yearlings.
