Ok here we go! Name: Sage Gender: Male Age: 20 years (aging works the same as humans) Appearance: Messy black hair that falls over his eyes (he uses it to kinda hide behind), golden amber eyes, Rather short (5'3'') in human form but close to eight feet with his tail since that is longer than his torso, very tan skin since he lives outside and often has to venture closer to the surface to find food, lots of scars but the most obvious is one down his left cheek, Very slim and light (About 160 pounds since food is a bit scarce), Although he's slim he's still muscular (more refined than bulky), gives off an air of power and/or menace, has a low voice that is quiet and scratchy but great for singing since he's still a siren, tail is long and slim with fine fins, scales are a deep black with lighter sandy-golden color for camoflauge, has fangs and claws when he choses, his eyes can change to have thinner pupils when angry Personality: Very mistrusting because of his backstory, would generally rather be alone than with other merpeople, he comes across as cold/rude/uncaring, he's very blunt and a bit crude, he's very stubborn and an extremely good fighter, when fighting he just jumps in without thinking, very hot-headed with a bad temper, tries not to get too attached to anyone, but once he forms a relationship he is very loyal and protective, he has no qualms about killing anyone/anything Weaknesses: Hot-headedness (he often gets hurt or in trouble because of it), he's very untrusting so he doesn't like to accept help, he gets flashbacks (mostly from his father, who he doesn't get along with) from his past which affects him greatly in a very negative way Strengths: Hunting, fighting, very skilled in sneaking around, knows the ocean territory well so he's great at hiding, very quick and agile, very strong Other: He is a deep water merperson, so he's very sensitive to both light and heat, but can handle cold quite well. He can see well in murky water and the dark. He normally stays well under the water and away from boats, nets, etc. His tail changes to legs once dried out, though he's never tried it out or wanted to leave the depths where he's comfortable. (His tail looks a lot like this, not a typical mermaid tail with huge fins) Edited at August 22, 2025 02:15 PM by NightClan

Name: Elira Veyne Gender: Female Age: 19 years Appearance: Elira has long, auburn hair that falls in loose waves down her back, often tied back with a strip of cloth or leather to keep it out of her face while working on deck. Her eyes are a hazel-green that always seem to be lit with curiosity or mischief, depending on the day. She stands at about 5’5’’ and weighs around 125 pounds, with a lean, wiry frame built from a life at sea. Her muscles are toned and practical rather than bulky — arms strong from climbing rigging and legs quick and sure-footed from running across slippery decks. Her skin is sun-browned and scattered with freckles, and her hands are calloused from rope and salt. She carries a few scars, the most noticeable a pale slash along her right thigh from a past skirmish. Elira dresses in layers of practical, worn clothes: loose shirts tucked into fitted trousers, boots softened by years of use, and belts strung with pouches, knives, and the odd trinket. She wears mismatched jewelry — beads, coins, and charms collected over the years — and always has the air of someone who belongs wherever she chooses to stand. Personality: Elira is bold, outgoing, and restless — the kind of person who can strike up a conversation with anyone and leave them wondering what just happened. She loves to be in the middle of things: laughter, arguments, fights, or games of chance. Strong-willed to her core, she refuses to be told what she can or cannot do, which often leads her into trouble. She’s reckless, driven by instinct and excitement rather than careful planning, but she has a sharp wit and a quick tongue that can talk her out of as many problems as she jumps into. Loyal and protective of the people she cares for, Elira has no hesitation about putting herself in harm’s way if it means keeping others safe. She’s hot-tempered and stubborn, but her anger tends to burn out as quickly as it flares, and her sense of humor makes her easy to forgive. Weaknesses: Elira’s recklessness is both her greatest thrill and her biggest downfall. She often charges ahead without thinking, convinced she can handle whatever comes. Her pride makes it hard for her to back down, and her refusal to be underestimated pushes her into unnecessary risks. Though she doesn’t trust easily, her compassion for people who seem overlooked or mistreated can leave her vulnerable to manipulation. Strengths: Quick and agile, Elira is skilled with both cutlass and dagger but prefers speed and precision over brute force. She’s a natural climber, at home scaling rigging or cliff faces, and a strong swimmer thanks to her life on the water. She has an easy charisma, able to draw people in with her confidence and energy, and she’s clever when it comes to bargaining or striking deals — a skill she learned from her father. Fearless, adaptable, and endlessly determined, she has the makings of a leader, even if she doesn’t see herself as one yet. Other: Elira grew up aboard her father’s pirate-trading vessel, learning to navigate, trade, and fight from an early age. She’s more swashbuckler than cutthroat, living in the gray area between piracy and trade. Though she values freedom above all else, she’s not without a sense of honor — she doesn’t steal just for the sake of it, and she’s drawn to challenges more than cruelty. She keeps a weathered compass her father gave her as a child. It doesn’t always point north, but she swears it has never led her wrong, guiding her toward places and people that shape her life. More than anything, Elira dreams of captaining her own ship someday, carving her own way across the seas with no one but herself to answer to.
