"Dont get hurt! Love you!"

Sage waved as he left, excitedly tearing out of town and to the deeper ocean where the bigger fish would be
| |

Remy curled around the egg, nurturing it.

Sage swam around for a while until he found the biggest swordfish possible and went at it. By the time he killed it he was exhausted and rather beat up, but he was proud of himself as he hauled it back into their little cave

Remy was curled up, asleep with the egg.

Sage smiled when he saw Remy asleep, and got to work cleaning the fish. He had plenty of scratches and bruises and his hair was a mess, but he had a grin on his face anyway
| |

Remy woke at the smell of the food. He blinked his eyes open sleepily, although immediately saw all the scratches. "Oh my god- Sage, what happened?!"

Sage half jumped when he heard remys voice, then waved off his concern. "It's a few small scratches, I'm fine," he noted. "I was a little reckless but I got my energy out, and found a damn good fish for dinner," he chirped, wiping his hands off and then drifting over him, offering him a plate of meat
| |

"Sage, honey, you shouldn't do that. I don't want you getting hurt,"

Sage chuckled softly and pecked his head, settling down next to him with their food. "Babe, it's a couple scrapes. Im not going to do anything too dangerous," he promised. Well....hunting swordfish could easily be dangerous, he supposed, but not if you did it right.
