Elara followed and stayed outside as he went and got Liz, having decided to not follow.She started tapping her foot after a while, having waited longer then she should've.With a sigh she walked in and saw him, honestly not being surprised by the women. "And why can't he leave with her?" She asked, seeing them push him. "It's his daughter, just let him go.It's not that hard, just let a man have his daughter." Elara said, only intervening if needed. |

Sage glanced over at the girl in surprise when she came in. The women threw her some nasty looks, muttering amongst themselves. He tensed when they all just...didn't move, but while they were distracted he took the opportunity to dart between them. One of them reached out and caught his hair, stopping him with a Yelp of pain as his head was jerked backwards. He shoved Liz into the older girls arms, letting the momentum swing him back hard enough to take his dagger and cut the hair that they had hold of. It took a good couple inches off, but they were free and running back to the tunnels. |

Elara followed him sprinting back to the tunnels, muttering curses under her breaths. "That was stupid, never seen somebody be so stubborn." -Except for my father- She thought, frowning slightly but pushing it aside as they ran. |

Sage had glanced over at Elara as they ran, a sort of chuckled coming out of his lips. "Me or the old hags," he asked, a slight tone of amusement creeping into his voice. Once they were back in the tunnels, they slowed to a stop, and he held Liz out in front of him, making sure she was ok. She grinned at him, clearly thinking it was all fun and games, and grabbed at the strands of hair that were now loose. He generally kept it in either a braid or a bun...he never let it down. It was nearly to his hips, and while long hair had its benefits, it also could get in the way, so he normally tied it back. "You don't have an extra hair tie, do you," he asked after a moment, attempting to pull the hair away from the baby in his arms. |

"Why would it be you? The hags for crying out loud, their like donkeys, the most stubborn things." She mumbled, running and stopping when he did.Elara stood in slight shock at how long his hair was, damn, not even she could pull it off.Anyhow, she wiped the look off when he asked for a hairtie, reaching into a pocket and pulling one out before handing it to him. |

Sage grunted in response to her comment, nodding along. "I suppose they are," he noted. "Though grabbing me was a new low," he grumbled. "And look what they did," he added with a huff, holding his hair up to show her the honestly worse than normal looking ends. He didn't really care what it looked like....he'd just toss it back in a bunch anyway. But the whole situation was rather annoying anyway. |

Sage sort of wrinkled his nose and set Liz down where she'd be comfortable on the ground, so he could use both hands to put his hair up. "Oh, I don't really care what it looks like. I cut it with my dagger anyway," he noted with a shrug. "It's just annoying that I had to resort to that," he snorted. "Should've broken their snooty little noses," he added with a grumbled, picking up Liz once his hair was up and then grabbing their torch with his free hand. "Let's get out of here," he added after a moment or so. |

Sage grunted with a nod. "If I wasn't carrying Liz I would have," he snorted, moving to walk back down the tunnel, the way they'd come. |
