Sage let out a soft breath. "They keep me from remembering things. Keeps my brain in check," he noted softly. "I've seen and done some....pretty horrific things. Hell, I had an arm taken off by a fucking gun." He shrugged. "It just became bad habits."

Sage nodded slowly with a sigh. "It sucks," he noted, suddenly letting out a laugh and flopping onto his back, letting the waves move under him. "But there's nothing I can do, and I don't have money for a doctor..." He trailed off with a head shake. "I'm probably the worst human you could have met. Learned from," he noted softly, closing his eyes. "I'm a damn mess"
