Morgan squeaked when he scooped her up, a surprised huff escaping her, although didn't complain. She just rested her head on his chest, completely exhausted as was dropped on the bed. She curled up into him, though, forcing herself inside the blanket as her arms wrapped around him.

Caleb enveloped her in the blanket, his body heat radiating onto her and hers onto him. He sighed contentedly, drifting in and out of sleep

Morgan rested her head into him, her cheeks very much still flushed up. It wasn't long until she'd drifted off to sleep, though. Her arms were still wrapped tightly around his sides, and her face buried into his chest. He seemed to be getting much more comfortable showing his affection for her... and really it made her light up in ways she just couldn't explain. She loved him so much, and she hoped he knew as much. She woke up a little bit later the next morning, and rolled out of bed to get changed. She wandered downstairs, where she was met with her mother looking at a letter from the lawyer. Morgan raised a brow and wandered over quietly, her brows slightly raised. "What's it say?" She asked curiously. The woman glanced back up at her and patted her shoudler. "His trial is in a few days. Is he ready?" She asked curiously. Morgan nodded quiely and offered a small smile. "I think so. He's got nothing to hide," she hummed softly. Her mother nodded. "And you're still happy to testify for him?" Morgan nodded again. The woman nodded and gave a bit of a chuckle. "Yep, that's what I thought," she gestured to the couch. "I think you left your underwear down here. I'd move it before your father sees it," she laughed. Morgan instantly went bright red and rushed over to the couch. "Mom!" She squeaked, shoving the fabric in her pocket, grabbing the letter off her and darting back upstairs with a rather embarrassed groan.

Caleb heard Morgan rushing back up the stairs and he woke, noticing she was out of bed. Hey sat up, now alert, and called for her. "Morgan?" He said, eyes unable to focus on one specific place

Morgan shut the door quickly behind her, and sort of slid to the floor with her hands over her face, which was still the brightest shade of red. It would make a nice lipstick, actually. She peeked up at him through her fingers, a sheepish laugh escaping her. "Good morning," she chuckled quiely, pulling the fabric out her pocket and throwing it towards the laundry basket in the corner.

"Did you forget something downstairs?" He teased lightly, getting dressed as he realized there was no danger and they were both safe. "At least it wasn't your dad who found it or else I would be out of here."

Morgan groaned and just stayed sat on the floor, her face buried into her knees. "No, you forgot something," she complained with a playful chuckle. She watched him get up for a moment, a small smile crossing her face. "You're lucky my brother didn't find it. You wouldn't have made it out of here at all," she mused, although was still rather amused by the whole thing.

Caleb chuckled and walked over, kissing her head before grabbing his shoes. "I'm gonna run into town real quick." He said, grabbing his keys and kissing Morgan one more time before heading out the door. He went stright to the jewelry store and picked up the ring he had custom ordered. He had been excited to propose, just counting down the days to graduation so he could do so.

Morgan smiled at him when he kissed her head and offered him a small hum as she forced herself to stand up again. She really was so embarrassed about the whole thing. At least it was her mother and no one else, though. She watched him walk off with a small smile spread across her face, and moved to wander back downstairs once her face had cooled off.

Caleb got back an hour later, claiming to just have gone on a for-fun drive. "Hello, beautiful." He murmured in Morgan's ear
