- Every artist has already been assigned a Super Secret Code Name. This will be used to sign your artwork and for any posts pertaining to the contest. If you have NOT received yours, please PM me. Do not tell anyone your name until after the contest and do not post references to it in the forums or chat please ;) It is secret for a reason.
- Art must be no larger than 2000 x 2000. Anything smaller is also fine.
- All art must be properly credited and signed (with code name of course).
- Please do not share screenshots or Join Me’s of a WIP as that may give away the artist.
- All sets of opponents will be given a background and horse that must be fully incorporated into the piece (i.e. No Frankenhorses, etc). You have complete and utter Free Reign outside of those parameters. Remember, you’ll be up against someone using the same stock, so it is up to you to flex those artistic muscles and convince the HEE community to vote for YOURS.
- Every Tier may end up with a differing number of rounds of elimination due to the numbers involved. The first round will be pretty small in some brackets as several people might have bye weeks.
- When you have completed your piece PM it to me with your Tier and SSCN in the subject line to make my life easier. If all art from the current round is in early, I will put the poll up for that as soon as possible.
- Rounds will be 7 to 10 days in length depending on the compexity of the theme involved, my work schedule, and any other possible circumstances. Yes I said theme :D
- I will announce the winners of each round and reassign opponents for subsequent rounds. Please do NOT post anything in the forum threads that will give your name or someone else’s away!

Q. Will you be able to add aspects to your piece (ex, a sunset, lightning, an animal, accessories, extra limbs/wings/horns, etc.) On top of the stock given?
A. Artists may do whatever they wish with the piece as long as the provided stock is identifiable. Q. Does this include making it a GIF? A. Yes it does, as long as all other guidelines are included.
Q. How can we assure no one is voting for their own art?
A. We can't.
Q. Does this event intend to keep the art, or may it be sold?
A. This event does not intend to keep the art. Once an artist is defeated in the Rumble, they may sell/ auction their art if they so choose. Waiting to sell it will maintain your secrecy and maintain your fellow tier members secrecy however, thereby making it more entertaining.
Q. Is there any way we could prevent certain stock from being "overused" so no one becomes tired of it/doesn't want to purchase it?
A. Some stuff may get used more than once. All of my stock selection will get subjected to random selection for each group of opponents. Though I will attempt to not reuse stock, depending on how many people enter, some will get reused.
Q. Will there be stock from paid providers (Shutterstock, adobe stock, etc.) And if so how do you intend to handle that?
A. All stock will be free stock. |
