Of course! I ment to write in 3rd but my brain switched gears lol))
Aspen lounges beneath the old tree for what seem'd like hours to the girl, basking in the soft sun as it peeked through the slowly darkening clouds, giving off a hazey warning as a low rumble shakes the ground, a sigh escapes her as she uses the tree to hoist herself off, brushing off the guard who had rushed to assist. After clearing her dress of any remnents of her little relaxation, she takes a breath and enters the cold, almost damp air of the palace, dawing her unreadable expression. As soon as the gates thudded to a close behind her, the kings assistent jogged up, almost breathless as he stumbles to kneel infront of me, I wave for him to stand and give whatever news he has to offer.
"My Lady." He starts of, almost at a mumble.
"Your father has requested your presence in the throne room, it is of urgent requirment that your presence is known."
I grumble to myself as i not slowly, keeping the picture perfect pose my mother had tought me, though I hated every moment.
"Of course, tell the king I shall be there within the quarter hour."
He nods and rushes off, holding his hat on his balding head with one hand, and the edge of his breatches in the other.
I sigh softly and walk down the hall, two well dressed guards lingering behind me, as i near the throne room my mind wanders, and I was certin this meeting regarded the appointment of a knight to be my protecter, as my father had made it clear i was to be monitered at all times. I sigh and approach the throne.
"AH there is my daughter" His booming voice seems to shake the walls, not as powerfully as his booming presence though, the jewels littering his cape and suit would make even the most desprete thief shake in there boots.
I bow my head slighty, keeping my demener almost dead, "Hello father, you have requested me?"
He leans forward a bit, scanning my eyes before speaking,
"Your knight has arrived, be at my side as he enters his nomination, and great the lad with your greatest smile."
I nod slowly and move to stand beside his throne, my hands clenched together at my mid-section as I drum my fingers nerviously, awaiting the moment where I would finally meet the man who would supposely keep me safe.
.
We shall see.
