Nate sighed, now frustrated with himself for yelling. "I'll talk to you later," he muttered, hanging up the phone.

Nate had already hung up the phone, not hearing her. A few hours later he drove back home.

Nate entered their house, setting down his things, shrugging off his coat and kicking off his boots, going over to Hunters room to visit his son.

Dakota was silent, hearing Nate come into the house but she just read a book
| |

Hunter was asleep, so Nate just tucked him in, kissed his forehead and then went to his room. He saw her on the bed, reading, but quickly looked away. He went to the bathroom, getting in the shower.

Dakota continued reading, not wanting more yelling

Nate took his shower in peace, then got out and got dressed for bed. He got into bed, curling up with his back to her and shutting his light off.

Dakota laid down, putting the book aside. He rubbed his back gently in circles. "I'm here if you wanna talk" She said softly
