He felt her hands slip over his arms,his grip tightning only a smidge as he scooted closer to her.

The sun started setting and Gale eventually fell asleep,tired.

Kayla hadn't slept in a couple days, exhausted, and fell asleep as well

Gale awoke the next morning and stretched a wing out over both of them,stretching his legs on his half of the bed while waiting on her to wake up.

Kayla woke and didn't speak as she got up off the bed

Gale pulled his wing back and watched as she got up,confusion and worry on his face.He eventually got up and found her,resting a hand on her shoulder. "Hey,you alright?Haven't been talking these past two days,something on your mind?" Gale asks softly,concern and a soft tone filtering through.

"Alright.I'm gonna go fly around,see this kingdom from above.Love you." He called,heading to the balcony and jumping off of it. Gale free falled for a moment,still staring up at the balcony before turning and stretching his wings,catching the wind current and speeding off,weaving through this and that,ducking below here and over this,just having fun. Actual fun.

Kayla watched him for a moment, not speaking, until she made her way downstairs. She trusted this place more than average because Gale seemed so at ease here, but still carried her daggers on her hips. She walked outside to the castle gardens and sat on the edge of a stone well, a faint smile on the edge of her lips
