Kayla slept with a dream that leaned toward a nightmare. She walks deeper into the forest, only a single dagger in her left hand. Typically, she loves being here alone but tonight is different. She steps more cautiously, every sound making her jump. She sees one, two, three, ten, more figures surrounding her in the shadows. Hunter's voice booms above the canopy of trees. She began to sprint off, hearing the footsteps gaining on her. She darted through the thick trees, the army still gaining but faster now.
