"I love you too," he said, watching her go.

Dakota went back to her cell and sat, crying
| |

Nate drove home with Hunter, also crying. (Timeskip to when she gets out?)

Dakota sighed, walking out of the gates with not a glance to the guards or the hell that had kept her apart from her family for so long.
| |

Nate was waiting anxiously with Hunter. He'd become inseparable from Hunter these past few months. Hunter had grown quite a bit too.

Dakota saw the fmiliar truck and smiled for what felt like first time in forever. Her pace increased a bit, spotting her husband in the front seat. As she approached the car, she realized how badly she'd needed the feeling of Nate's arms around her and her son in her arms.

Nate saw her out the window of his truck and froze. He got out of the truck with his baby and looked at her before running to her. He hugged her, sobbing into her.

"Oh my god i've missed you so much" She said, tears rolling down her face
| |

"I love you... I love you son much," he whispered, holding her close with one hand and holding onto Hunter with his other. "Mama!" Hunter squealed happily.

Dakota pressed her forehead against Nate's for a moment before turning to her son. "Hey, baby! You're so big!" She said happily, scooping him up with a smile. She kissed his cheek and looked at Nate once more
