"And why would I not want you?You know," he began, his tone dripping with sarcasm, "I’m getting a bit tired of the games, Kayla. You’ve been teasing me for days, and yet... here we are." He paused, taking in a breath like he was about to say something deep, but instead, his lips curled into a smirk. "So, here’s an idea—how about you just make it official already? Be my girlfriend or whatever it is we’re doing here." His voice was edged with a slight bite, but his eyes still held that playful challenge. He wasn’t asking for a declaration of love—hell, he didn’t even know if he believed in that—but it was a question, one that carried with it more weight than he was letting on. "I mean," he continued, leaning in a little closer, "you’ve already got me wrapped around your finger. Might as well make it official." The words were sarcastic, the challenge unmistakable, but underneath it all, there was an unspoken truth—he was waiting for her answer, but he wasn’t about to admit it. Not yet. |
