" hey I'm not gonna leave you a promise " he picked her up and grabbed his wallet, keys, and both of their phones and took her to his truck, he put her in the tub and buckled her up then drove to the hospital |

Emma was un unbearable pain by the time they got there, the medics and nurses rushing around |

Leim got out and took her inside and checked her in |

The nurses were familiar with Emma by now, knowing her well |

Leim waited to see what was going on with her |

"She needs to have emergency surgery. She has internal bleeding and she will die in the next 24 hours if we don't perform the surgery." The doctor said, his voice rushed as he wheeled Emma away to surgery. ~
A nurse walked over to Leim a few hours later. "She's asleep, but you can see her. The room at the very end of the hall" She said, handing him a sandwich and redbull |
