Caden moved the two so they were now laying on the bed, him spooning Rose from behind. He lay awake, debating if he should kiss her neck since his lips were so close to it. Nah, she was sleeping, he should wait. And wait he did. Meanwhile, his mind had no patience.

Rose woke in the middle of the night, lungs skipping breaths and heart skipping beats. "What the-" She muttered, sitting up to a coughing fit she couldn't stop. She felt a warm liquid on her hand as she tried to muffle the coughs. She looked at her hand, blood on it

Caden awoke imediatly, flicking on the lamp and eyes going wide when he saw the blood. "The hell-" He started, scrambling to get out of the tangle of sheets.

"It's fine, i'm-" She muttered, coughing again with tears of pain in her eyes
| |

"Not fine," He said quietly, tired as he found his phone. "I'm done with this, we're finding a solution because this is breaking both of us." Caden started under his breath, dialing 911.

Rose began to struggle to breath, choking on her own blood
| |

"Please, get here ASAP" He commanded into the phone, voice scared.

Rose struggled to breathe still, now attempting to stand but failing and sitting on the bed. "Caden..." She pleaded between coughs
| |

"I'm sorry, I don't know what the fuck to do. Если они не приедут, я подам в суд." He started, his anxiety creeping in as he heard the familiar sirens and scooped her up easily.

Rose got a small bit of blood on his shirt and her breaths and heartbeat were too short and quick to be normal. Her heart felt like it was on the brink of bursting the whole time as paramedics worried over her and she looked at Caden with a scared expression
